Has anyone stayed here? How far is it from US/IOA?

Also, can you upgrade your ticket for FOTL privledges? If so how much? We are going Oct 13-15, its a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, how busy will it be?

Thanks for and info

you are going during hhn time.

the parks should not be too busy in the day time but will definitely increase greatly around 3. people with the hard tickets can wait in a specific area for the start of hhn. hhn will start either 6:30 or 7 pm and run to 2 am on friday and saturday. hhn closes at midnight on sundays.

ioa will close at 5 and uo should be closing at 6 if it follows last years pattern.
either way, both parks close early due to the hard ticket event.

go to the parks early, and do all you can prior to 3 in the afternoon.

you should be able to do all you desire to since you will be there for 3 days.

as long as you get to the parks early.......get in line 8:20, you will be fine and avoid the crowds. but, more than likely crowds will start around 3 in the afternoon.

you only get the fotl by staying on site at one of the three hotels.

you can buy the express pass plus for head of the line. it will allow you only one ride each though, not multiple times like the fotl does.

no, you can not buy the fotl. it is a perk for staying on site.

The distance between Westgate Lakes Resorts and Universal Studios/Island of Adventures are about 4 miles.

We have stayed there. It was pretty nice with the jaccuzzi tub in the bedroom and large screened porch. Need to avoid the timeshare Nazis. We stayed 2 days and never received housekeeping but brought extra towels when I called. Its a short drive up Turkey Lake to what I call the backdoor to Universal.
