Saturday June 3rd we went to Extra Magic Hours for Animal Kingdom. I still had a hard time getting going in the morning. 6am came we got to the bus stop around 7:10 only waited a couple mins and here comes the bus. Nice ride over and quick. Its raining again. We headed in got a bite to eat at one of the kiosk’s. This time it was gross. Then we headed for it’s Tough to be a bug. We got to the tree and the photo pass dude had to take out picture. Lots of them let me tell ya. Would have been fine with 1 or 2. So we walk right into the show. Great show. Mom loved it. This was now her second favorite. We walked to the Kilimanjaro Safaris there was a short wait. Not to crowded today either. Rainy though and man was it Hot at this park. Safaris was great. Animals not to active in the rain though, then we walked through pangani. Loved the gorrilla’s. Aww it was so sweet. They looked at ya and moved around. Still raining out. Then off to Dinoland. Headed for Dinosaur. Once again hardly any wait. Grandma rode this ride. OMG I thought for sure she would have a heart attack or something. We paid for the picture it was great, but some how set it down and lost it. (sigh) We then ate at the McDonalds place. It stopped raining and the sun came out. Sweating like crazy now. Then did some carnival games. I won a blue dinosaur and hubby won a bigger one. Then it was the primevil whirl with FP. Love walking right on. OMG grandma rode this too. My DD9 cried. DD7 loved it. We all thought it was great. We then took the girls on the tricera tops spin. Mom and grandma sat this one out. Cute ride. Then we walked to Asia. We got a FP fro Kali Rapids and walked the Maharajah trek. That was fun and interesting. Then it started to pour. We went to KR with our FP mom and grandma sat this out. So the 4 of us with our ponchos on got to the FP 10 mins early so we stood there for a second and this CM came up to us and asked if we were going to ride it. We said “yes” and he said “come with me” This was going to be our magical moment. He took us down to the control room to see how the ride works. Got to see all the cameras and sign a guess book, we got a card saying this was a magical moment and then we got to be next to get on the ride. This guy went with us and was our tour guide for he talked the whole entire time about the meaning of this ride. I was in the seat where the water goes over your head. I had the poncho though. It was pouring anyway.I sat on my poncho and had a dry butt. Hahaha the DH didn’t though. So after that wonderful experience yet somewhat strange one too. We headed over to the rainforest café for our 4pm PS seating. Well we get there this is not on the dining plan but we knew that. We checked in and 30 mins later we asked why were weren’t seated yet. They deleted our ressie. Geezzzzzz! We stood there the whole time. So we ate and it wasn’t good for me. It was also freezing. DD9 fell asleep on the table. We then get on the bus to go back to the hotel. Everyone was tired. Later DH and I went to Epcot to watch the firework show. Loads of people. The most I’d seen the whole trip. Now that was something. I loved the music our DD’s watched bambi in the room and passed out at 8:30 We saw the MK fireworks from the Monorail that was cool. Got back to the resort to see the water pageant. This ended our magical day. Tomorrow is Chef Mickey day.

Thanks for posting. Very brave grandma you have there, shame about the lost photo.
