Day 2 June 3rd

Side note: My family and I are from Utah. Mom and grandma are from Colorado. Dry heat!!!!! We left and it was in the 40’s.
Today Friday we get up at 6am. That about killed me with the 2 hr time change. Step outside and feel the heat. It was Magic Hour at the MK. We get there right before 8am. Grandma was suppose to be in a wheel chair doctors orders well this stubborn woman said NO!!! No real crowds at all. The suspense is making my kids sick literally. We count down! It’s opens. Wow what a sight to see the castle. We got some BF at the Main Street Bakery. That was tasty. We headed for SM. Got a FP. Then Stitch’s attraction. That was my mom’s favorite. Even grandma went on it. Then we headed back to SM it was broke down. (sigh) We could use our FP anytime now. We rode the Indy Speedway. Mom and grandma sat that one out. My kids drove. That was funny. Then off to the TTA. That was better than I thought it would be. We did the carousel of progress. Had that song stuck in my head for a long time. We rode the Mad Tea Cups. Grandma rode that one too. Mind you she closed her eyes the whole time. LOL The kids thought it was great. DH spun them around Mad! Then we saw Alice. Now this started the autograph signing. We had a PS at PC 11:30 for lunch. It started to rain on the walk over. Busy! But we got right in just has it started to pour. The food was delicious. Saw Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eoyore. Took lots of pics. Loved it all. Then we ventured out in our ponchos and went to the tree house. Still raining but it was light now. I liked the treehouse. We rode Aladdin next the sun was out. My was it hot!!!! I walked out of a shop, the clouds opened up and dumped a bucket of water on my head. DH and the kids laughed since they were still in the shop. Never in my life have I seen so much water fall all at once and without any notice. Hotter now and I am soaked. We then went on the Jungle Cruise. This was the longest line so far but only a 20 min wait. We all rode this. It was still raining but had let up. We had the greatest CM. I loved him. While riding it poured again it just made it more realistic. I think this was one of my Favorites. I began to think that it wasn’t going to stop raining any time soon. Next was POTC. Pretty cool grandma rode it too we walked right on. We took a ride on the Liberty Ferry. Nice and relaxing in the rain. Did the HM with not much wait. Still raining and had to take the poncho off. Man ya sweat in those things. I loved this ride. Then we got a FP for SM and decided to stand in line for BTMR. Grandma even wanted to ride it. She’s 77. By far this was the longest wait. 45 mins. Was worth it though. Just as we got under the roof again it poured. I noticed the down pours were every hour on the hour. Next we went for our FP at SM, it was down. But was told we could use it anytime. By now grandma didn’t want to do anymore so we went on it’s a SW maybe 10 min wait. We got a FP for Peter Pan. Mom and grandma wanted to go to the resort we went through the shops on the way out. Spent too much money. Had such neat stuff. I was surprised that mom and grandma said they would go back by themselves. It stopped raining. So they left we went and ate at Casey’s. Good hot dogs. Then we found a spot for the parade. Now that was something. So cool! After that excitement we headed for SM. We used our FP walked right on. I like those things. But the ride broke down while on it. So we finished the ride with the lights on. We were given another FP for SM. So we watched the fireworks as we walked to Peter Pan’s flight. Used FP walked right on. Then we went to SM used FP walked right on. I was convinced this was the way to go. Nice picture of me screaming. So we then had 15 mins to go back to SM by 11pm for our FP. We got there at 11 and walked right on. Much better ride in the dark. My kids are so awesome. 15 ½ hours and not once did they complain. I love them. This was not a crowded park day at all. We walked around without raining into anyone. No line for the monorail either and first stop off. Had a great magical day.

We were there the last two Junes and it was pretty rainy. I love reading first timers reports and can't wait for more. My 80yo father and my aunt & uncle in their late 70's love WDW too!
