Western MD..it's too early for winter!

Earlier this morning as the cold front started moving thru..the sky got dark..and the SNOW started falling..lasted about 15 minutes the first time..then the sun came out..awhile later..it got dark and the snow started again..it was hard to see while driving and was sticking to the ground and the trees..now the sun is back out..but the temps are dropping fast..the winds are up to 40 mph..and it's too early for this winter weather!!!

It's been predicted that we are in for a very cold and wet winter!

The wind is horrible - it actually blew over my full garbage cans. It was hailing when I went out for the paper this morning - my kids thought I was crazy because 5 minutes later it was gone. Every so often we have some sort of freezing concoction blowing around. My van was rocking from the wind at a stop light.
