what can we not miss on the 7 day western like to sit on the beach in the mornings then do something else we were thinking sting ray city can that be done on your own (we have 2 boys 11 and 9) thanks

I would definately not miss stingray city! It was an amazing experience. Just remember you may not have a great deal of time to sit on the beach if you do SRC. We took the captian marvins 11:15-1:15 and did not get back to the tender area until almost 3:00! last tender is at 4:30!

The ship can not dock in Grand Cayman because of all the coral reefs, as such all passangers (from all cruise ships ) must take a tender in. A tender is a smaller boat that zips people back and forth to shore.

Hi Tony.

what can we not miss on the 7 day western

First of all, don't miss the boat!

At Cozumel, you might want to consider miniature golf at Sally's. There is another thread with plenty of information. Also, based upon the ages of your children, you might want to look into Wild Tours ATV Tour which includes an exhilarating ATV ride along with kayaking, snorkeling and a brief - albeit interesting - Mayan ruins stop. My DS9 and I thoroughly enjoyed the outing. So much so that I have already rebooked it for our cruise this summer.

were would i find info on booking that atv tour sounds cool and can you tell us about some nice beaches thanks for the info

My first choice would be stingray city...that was an amazing experience! We did Capt Marvins..the half day 10-2 tour and it was worth every penny.

Grand Cayman: 7-mile Beach is where all the actions are.
Cozumel: Mr. Sanchos is highly recommended.
Castaway Cay: Two choices to pick from, the family or the adult-only beaches.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the thread, but I can't help but notice your amber alert on your posts-just wanted to say the guy she is with -Terry Drake- used to work here where I do!!! Isn't that wierd?? He is one strange guy!! He's nasty. None of us here can still believe it! He always bragged about "I was in prison for murder once and I wouldn't hesitate to go back for it"-he would be "joking" (if that's what you call it) about the boss here. He wouldn't threaten him, just half way brag about being in prison. None of us believed his stupid stories. None of us knew he was in prison for 16 years for murder and rape!! YIKES! We were freaked out!! He used to talk about going to the state of Washington to some river there- fishing there- I don't know- we never really listened to him. I know he's been scene in CA, but people in WA please beware and alert to the description. I hope they find him and bring her back safely!! Just had to throw that in here, sorry for not staying on subject.:(

The Amber alerts are a great tool...
I live near a river in Washington State, I appreciate the heads up!
