Do you think Disney will change any of the shows for the Western Itinerary. It would be nice if they would. They must know that a lot of cruisers are returning and it would be nice to see new shows. Anyone else have the same views?

In the same respect it would be nice if they changed the gifts for the kids clubs also. Don't know what they could do for the lunch bag and water bottle (given in the club) or the hat (given in the lab). But an idea for the shirt would to keep the same idea, just a different colour. Maybe a nice navy blue shirt with the same logo. It costs the same to do and it is also easier to keep clean!

I think it would be a great idea to have new shows on the Western cruise. I 've already seen the shows back on my 4 day cruise in 1999 and am actually surprised to see that the same shows are still playing. I was thinking of skipping the shows, with the exception of Dreams, on my Western cruise. I 'd love to see something new!

Well, if they change the shows at all, it will probably be for all the cruises, not just the Eastern/Western rotation. There simply isn't enough storage area for props for a whole new set of shows *and* the ones they have running now. One of the things they discussed in one of the "Behind the Scenes" tours was that part of the reason the Pirate Ship show was changed was because the props took up so much space.

That being said, I doubt they'd ever do away with Disney Dreams...it's just too popular. And "Who Wants to Be a Mousketeer" is still relatively new. The only show I can see them maybe scraping for another new one is "Hercules."

Maybe we'll get some news after the first Western cruise. :)

Hubby and I did the Eastern 7-day Magic last January, and we are booked on the Western for 1/18/03 and I really would prefer they keep the same shows. We "saw them all" on our first cruise, and we'd like to skip a couple this time and do other things during show time. If they have all new shows we won't want to skip any, so wouldn't have time in the evening for other things. I definitely hope they keep "Disney Dreams", it was such a wonderful production. Some have said they had matinee presentations of it on their cruises, we weren't offered that option on ours so only got to see it once and I'm really looking forward to seeing it again next year! Really looking forward to May, so we start getting some reports on the Western!! :D

Great idea- my DD has the same bucket hat with different logos and 3 of the t-shirts. I think it would be a great idea if instead of the lunch bag and hat- that they would give a scrap book, address book or a t-shirt that they could have each other sign. The different color shirt is a great idea too.
I will tell you something else that really needs changing is the 10-12 activies! The rest of the age groups do some very interesting things but the 10-12 pretty much just hang in the Lab or in Common Grounds. That would be acceptable a couple of hours everyday but not for the majority of the day! We need some action going on-
