We just changed out of our original cruise (august 20th Med) to this cruise! To much going on in August!

It will be me, DH, DD(8), DD(6), DS(4).
This will be our 3rd disney cruise!

Is it too late to join the FE list? I would love to participate

Ok here's a question: how many of you are dressing up for pirate night an how elaborate is your costume?

I had thought about pirate t-shirts & bandanas for our family, but just saw a thread with pics. Those folks are dressed like real pirates!

So, what are your plans? Let's hear it....

Had BIG plans for dressing up, but the cruise is getting rather close and not sure if I am going to be able to pull it off. It may just be a bandana, eye patch, rings...

Okay DIS friends, I am starting to panic. I am usually an ridiculously early planner but I feel like the cruise is SO soon (which is a good thing) and I am completely unprepared (which is a bad thing)! Okay, moving on...

Deb - was also thinking middle of the road for dressing up - shirts and bandana style. Not going crazy for formal night either - probably more business casual.

2qtees - yay, you are bringing more little ones! Our DS is 2

Got our cruise documents this week...can't believe how fast this is coming up!!!

For pirate night we will be dressed very similar to our avatar picture, same as Fb picture.

We are working on Jake and Izzy costumes for DS and DD.

I had planned on going all out with a pirate costume, but my mom bought pink pirate-princess shirts from cafe press.. we also have pink pirate-princess ears we picked up at Disney last year my dad's just wearing a pirates of the caribbean shirt and possibly a pirate hat.. so not too elaborate here I say just have fun with it and wear whatever you want!

Same here! this will be my first time trying to meet up with people on the DIS. I have to go back through the thread and figure out excursions and reservations. So much to do!!!

Sorry it's take a few days to reply.

DD and DS are both happy meeting other people so I hope we get the chance to meet up. Just booked two excursions (Rum point/StingrayCity @ Grand Cayman & Dolphin Push, Pull, Swim @ Cozumel) which it sounds like they'll realy enjoy. We will be in Stateroom 8032.

That sounds like a great idea! I think our flight leaves at like 3:30 (ish) from Philly, so we probably won't get to the hotel until about dinner time.. so we would be available I guess later that night, or possibly in the morning for breakfast - and we'll also be on the same shuttle to the terminal, right? I've never done this before, so it's kind of all new to me

I think a meet up is a great idea! We will be staying one night before the cruise & would be up for a get together- as long as the kids can come.

Since 4ears (Mary) is keeping a roll call for us, please send her your info if you haven't already done so. As you can see from the above post, lots more have joined our group. I know she sent out an updated post after this one with more names, but I couldn't find it.

Anyhow, we are looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Rachel! I would assume we would all be on the same shuttle. I plan on being on the first one. They have a couple of runs if need be.
Last time we stayed on site the night before.

We could do something after dinner, breakfast, at the terminal...Who else is staying at Country Inn and Suites? Others coming in 2 days before? If so, what are you doing the day before we sail? We are thinking about going to Kennedy Space Center...

Yes I have got WAY behind on who is sailing with us for several reasons, sorry!
