I am!! In the 80s today. We took my mom out for a bit. She is kind of stuck here on the mountain while we work, she likes to wander around Target, KMart, WalMart, etc. so we took her out to Target and KMart today. When we got out of the car at KMart I said "wow, it's a bit hot!" Then I laughed and told my mom and DrHug that there is just no pleasing me! I did stop complaining very quickly though when I though about the alternative!

I would love 80 right now. But then the pools would be cold.

She IS ugly! The first time I ever saw her was in 90210 and I thought she SO did not fit in because she had a horse mouth & teeth. Yeah, I'm mean, but she just reminds me of a horse.

Ihave had this Blackberry for a couple weeks and I have been calling it a Raspberry because it is red and NAN is the first one to comment on the DIS or in person !!!

Guess that's because I did not know that there is NOT one called a Raspberry! I am a complete techno idiot. DS works for Verizon and he keeps trying to talk me into a new phone....nope!! Mine does not even have a camera, it is really, really old! Might be among the oldest still being used in the Verizon system. DS won a bet with his boss as to whose mom had the oldest phone.

Not quite an afternoon's drive......Bobby Banana had to go from me to Holly and Tyler by postal service as it is probably 300 miles from me to them.

Marilyn--do you measure distance in miles or kilometers?

Out west we measure by neither miles or kilometers, we measure by time. 2 hrs and 45 min to my sister's house, 3 and a half hours to my brother's, 6 hours to Spokane, 18 hours to Disneyland. I have no idea the miles to any of those places.

So, I'm watching the movie "Jumper". I had never heard of it, but it sounded good. There's a little ATM-like thingy at Kroger where you can rent movies for $1.01 after the coupon code they have posted by the machine. The movie has Samuel Jackson and some cute kid. REALLY good movie so far! But I keep taking breaks to check out what you chatty folks are up to!

We got 10 people in a 2 seater Porsche and went to senior ditch day in the bed of a truck!
