Ladies... keep your fingers crossed and pray!!! If I get my lake house... then you can come and visit... Of course Ian and Sukie will be there first, followed by Nan... Monica... Angie and Dennis will be parked outside in their RV...:goodvibes ........................................:)
!

Of course we'll come and visit. Tell me, will Scheke Green be appearing at the resort along with the Barry Sisters, maybe?

Oh, no, those are those other mountains. The Catskills.

No, but for you... I'll see if I can find a nice box of Matzos to make S'mores out of!!! :rotfl:

Mousefest land is from Dec 11-15. BUT we are there when you are, and Michelle is too. Monica is always there(:) )We are hoping for a meet.:cool1:

Cherie, is your cruise Dec 7th-12th? If so that is the Mousefest cruise we went on last time. The group do some extra activities onboard.

11th - 14th.

If you are on the 4-night leaving Dec 7 I believe you are on the Mousefest cruise!

Yes, that's the one I'm on. I had no idea it was Mousefest when I booked it. I'm not sure how much I'll participate in the festivities since I'll be traveling with my sister and 2 friends who've never cruised DCL, plus my cousin and her family and possibly my other sister and her son so I think this will be a family trip. But I can at least get an idea of what Mousefest is like.

I'm going to do the parks before the cruise (2nd--6th Dec.) but my cousin and her family are going to WDW after the cruise (11th--14th) so they'll be there at the same time as Mousefest. Is that going to impact their trip? Will it be extra crowded? What do you experts think?

Life with a Celebrity, Part 2

Throughout all of this, I just walk 3 paces behind him, carrying his handbag.

As I read this, I got the visual of Prince Philip immediately!

Today I am finally going to transfer the PBS documentary from the DVR to a DVD. I started to do that last Saturday night, but realized the entire documentary (and pledge drive) would have to play while it records. Today I will do it, and just let it run. I will then import the video into my iMac and edit out the pledge drive, and burn a new DVD.

Ian, what software do you use to get the video from your DVR to your Mac? I'm very new to DVR ownership!

I am back to my ole stomping grounds - Ebay!
:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
Oh wait...are you buying or selling? If you're selling, maybe you can use your profits to join us in Sept. '09!

Good morning kids. I slept in a bit today and that was nice, but the coolest time of day is over, so yard work has to wait till twilight or tomorrow morning.
.

It's going to be so hot down there this weekend!! And I'm going down tomorrow for an overnight...what am I thinking????:scared1:  :faint:

You would think that since the PBS documentary played over week ago, that the hubbub over Sukie would have died down. It hasn't.

He is still getting stopped. People point at him, whisper to each other, and then shyly ask him, "Are you...?"

I have had nearly 2 weeks to compare Sukie live and Sukie on TV. I have come to a pretty dramatic conclusion ... I think I prefer Sukie on TV. You might wonder why? I have found out that on TV when Sukie starts talking, I can switch him off.

You are too funny!

This is not for Nan but I wanted everyone to know that I love the slip and slide. I'm the best mom EVER and I put foam under it to make sure they don't get hurt. Alright maybe it's for me but fun anyway :rotfl2:

I put rocks under ours...just kidding, I'm not that mean :lmao: :lmao:

Try and enjoy yourselves... really... don't think about the Magic at all... and on my birthday... have a strawberry marguerita for me!!!

I might even come with Miss Molly, if it doesn't interfere with her Theater schedule, you heard the snotty accent there didn't you?:rolleyes1

going to clean the house from luggage and travel crap. I invited little leaguers over for a bbque tonight in hopes that I'd have a reason to put our crap away. See plan a party and clean up it works for me.

Happy almost, Gaylean.

Cherie, don't worry about the impact of Mousefest either on the cruise or at WDW. You wouldn't know they were there on the cruise, and I think unless you came accross a group activity at a park during the Mousefest land part the same thing applies.

Apart from going to Mega mousemeet, and booking 1 activity, I never saw anything to do with Mousefest.

They are there though, and together with Pop Warner, that week is busier than the week previous when you are in WDW.

I use that strategy too!:thumbsup2

OK, this is sort of a pain in the tush.

I have a DVD recorder, it's a cheapie LiteOn that I got for something like $80 at CostCo. It does a fine job for what I want, copying things from the DVR.

I have it set up with video and audio coming into it. I play the DVR and record it on the DVD recorder.

For Sukie's stuff, I'm going to extract the video using Handbrake. The save the file and edit with iMovie and smoosh it back together into 1 movie. This is all to get rid of the 1.5 hours of pledge drive that they had.

There was so much pledge drive time that it took 3 DVDs to record it!

I heard Pop Warner is there the week before Mousefest this year.

I agree though about the parks - you won't really notice the Mousefest people unless they are doing a large meet activity. And a lot of those are taking place in hotels or a restaurants.

That's the THE-AAAAA-TER... Darling!!! & you have an open invite...

Wow... I hope they made enough money off of Sukie... Can you upload it to one of the sites after... at least some of his stuff?

I heard Pop Warner is there the week before Mousefest this year.

The little kiddies invade from Dec 7th to the 13th this year... it is a VERY good reason to avoid the All Stars/Pop and POR... they just take over. You will see them in the parks running around in groups but it's not as bad as if you are actually staying where they are. I stayed at All Star Music 2 years ago and they just took over the place.

Ok, I'll have to post these on Bobby's thread too....but I hijacked him for a bit at the tropical party too.....

Are there any other Bobby Banana photos out there?

Sadly, I have to accept the fact that my laptop is old and slowly dying. The repair I had done recently didn't hold. My monitor pooped out on me last night. The guy at the repair shop told me of this possibility, and told me if it quits working again that the problem is definitely the mother board and that it will cost me less to get a new computer than to fix this one. So.......until I'm able to get a new computer, probably not until my birthday the end of August, I've hooked back up to the crappy, used monitor I picked up for free quite some time ago that barely works. It works, but is very faint, so I can't see it in the daytime. LOL! But at night, with the lights off, I can see it enough to use it for a while. LOL! Oh well.....some use is better than none, so I'm OK with that for now. :thumbsup2
