:rotfl: Well then, you would have loved the beer I had today after work! The mug was so big, I had trouble lifting it! I think it was 32 oz!!!!!!

mmm beer...

that reminds me.
I got a few of these in the fridge chilling.

time to get one out.

ok I've heard and had a fried twinkie, but I have not heard of a fried snickers bar.

They taste like hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies. Indiana State Fair sells deep fried everything.

Jan :earsgirl:

For my 40th I am throwing myself a surprise party...it was going to be in Vegas, but, hmmmmmm, a DCL cruise sounds like a better idea!:thumbsup2

For my 50th... I'm going to rent a villa in Tuscany... ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I didn't get the dessert menu, just the main one, but I can't imagine why anybody would want to buy it.:confused3

Nobody here is too interested in our holiday really so I would love to join you!

Cause they weren't smart enough to snag one on their way out!!!

I hope to celebrate with you Monica.:cool1: It would be our 40th wedding anniversary celebration too.

Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone! :goodvibes

I think if we celebrate the 40's together it would be

FANTASTIC!!

Um... guys... Marilyn you're married 40 years and Monica...you're turning 40... is there something you guys should tell us??????;) ;) ;) ;)

Will & Mickey took me to the Strawberry Festival last year and not only did I see fried snickers but also:

Fried.....
Oreos
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Pickles
Green tomatoes (yummy)
twinkies
cheesecake

 GROSS to all! My stomach doesn't like anything fried.

Well, minus the kids...and at the Biltmore in Phx....that is exactly what I plan to do this August! Just need to figure out the schedule of the conference to see if I will have any free time to meet up!

::yes:: Even if it's just for a quick cocktail or cuppa joe.... I work very near there if it's a weekday and can zip down on the weekend too!

I'll be more than happy to celebrate my 40th next year on the b2b (eventho that's in Sept and bday is not til Nov). What could be better than DCL and good friends?

I'd be celebrating my 60th (about 2 month early) :scared1:

I know you all were disappointed, but what did it TASTE like?
Jan :earsgirl:

Jan, actually it was pretty good. I flipped off the 'fish skin' and ate the insides. Would have enjoyed a little bit more of that part.

. I will be driving the '63 and was thinking of putting my girls in it as well.

My question is this:
What should I and the girls be wearing for "period" outfits to go with the car? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Well maybe, as Shannon might have to make the outfits ... ::yes:: :rolleyes1

Remember...'63 was still the "50's". I've always said the 60's started one day between the Kennedy assisnation in November and the Beatles appearing on Ed Sullivan in February!

....back to catchin up.....

That's an interesting milepost! I'll have to think about that.

When I was gathering graphics, etc. for my 40 year reunion (class of '67) it seemed like the really big shift from preppie to hippie happened in the summer of '67, right after we graduated. In my senior year, the hippie thing was a novel idea, but I didn't feel like it grabbed hold in my world until '68.

ha ha, but remember when Camp Kelly is open your littel Z has lots of big girls to keep her entertained. I think my paypal funds will get redirected to Molly's account :lmao: :lmao:

A very good point ..... always give back!

Mine started that way, remember???:rolleyes1

They still are ... in others eyes.::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Quick post before I catch on on ones I missed. I talked to Heather today on my lunch and she came home from the hospital last night. She's slowly recovering from the pneumonia. She's been reading a bit here and was surprised to hear how many others got so sick.

Is this Cameron's mom? Wife of Joseph? (couldn't resist saying wife of Joseph)

Hi All.....we have arrived......we're in Virginia Beach now and it is so very nice. My brother got here and so did Brian and Linda, my brother by choice and his wife! I'll show you some pictures of them later when we all get together. For now, here's some scenic pictures.

Wow, last time I was there 20 years ago, it was gloomy and ugly. Boy has it changed. Very pretty.

I keep saying each year at the fair that I'll try those. Maybe this is the year.

Tim Russert has passed on...

It is a sad day, especially for those of us

Who studied Journalism.

Very sad and so young.

Well here you go.

A little messy but it conveys the idea for Monday...

This hilariouser than the last hilarious photo.

Just be careful, Paypal doesn't follow the rules of a traditional bank or credit card processor, and some people who sell online and have had a chargeback or sold to a customer who is flagged for some reason by Paypal have had their accounts suspended/frozen for over 90 days with no way to get funds in or out. :badpc: Some have claimed that Paypal at the end of their investigation period told them that their account was fraud-based and they were entitled to none of their money back.

Keep the funds you have in the account to the bare minimum and you should be ok :)

Thanks, I'm copying this into a word file. Very good to know.

 GROSS to all! My stomach doesn't like anything fried.

Not good for headaches either. :headache:

Nope, it's Tyler's "Florida girlfriend" Bethany's mom, Heather (threebritts).

Not good for headaches either. :headache:

Wow, I had no idea. Good thing I don't eat this stuff! I have enough headaches without! :faint:
