I get those ALL the time. People laugh at how forgetful I am and a few have been telling me lately that I should add ginko biloba to my st. john's wort! :rotfl2:

I decided LONG AGO (when I was about 22) that we women have so many things on our minds that we cannot keep track of all of them. Forgetfulness is a sign of a clever, creative mind and a busy person. Only recently did I decide to accept the sentence I tagged myself with under my avatar.

Oh, I also have another appointment. Next Monday I have an appointment with my advisor at school to try to figure out what my options are for going back. :thumbsup2 Thanks to st. john's wort, and a 2 week vacation to clear my head, I'm finally ready & able to get back to straightening out my life and trying to get back to where I need to be, or if I still want to go in the same direction. So many changes happened (and are still happening) so quickly, I'm not sure which direction I should head. But at least I'm able to start thinking about it and getting back on track. :goodvibes

 and best wishes as you sort this out and figure out your future direction!

Jan :earsgirl:

You've sure got your hands full! But still......try to find time to come say HI to us all once in a while!

I will! I work all next week so need to get my swap stuff done before then if possible. I will post pics as I finish things. Sat is my and DH's anniversary. Since it's father's day I don't think we are doing anything but he normally plans that day so I have no clue.

lets just not talk about the gas prices, lalalalalaalalalalalla, I'm in a pretend world where I don't see it and therefore it hasn't happened. I have no other way to deal with this issue.

The key to a good DB in my mind is use lots of butter in the pan that is preheated. We use pyrex. either 9x9 or even the big 9x13. I'm thinking of adding cinamon to it this weekend, it just sounded good to me. Let me know if you want our receipe, it came from a B&B Paul and I stayed at when we were young and in love (that was before we had kids):lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

RE: Gasoline prices we are not talking about: We say that the higher priced gasoline is the better quality gas.

RE: DB: Yes, recipe please ::yes::

Jan :earsgirl:

This is cool.

I didn't notice the movement at all.

Hi Marilyn,
How were you able to copy this? I want to save the whole thing as a movie file on my hard drive. Thanks for the help!

What is the "swap stuff"?

What is the "swap stuff"?

Jan :earsgirl:

Over on the Creative Communtiy there is a Swap board. We each make different scrapbook items for the topic we signed up for. Then we send it to one person, they sort it and we get different things(toppers, tags, paper piecings) back. For this on right now I an in 10 different groups and have to make 6 things for each group. Each group is a different things(Disney, Halloween, Christmas etc.). Its alot of work but fun. I orignally was not in that many groups but someone had to drop out and I took a few of their spots.

DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT LOST!!!

Since no one responded to anyone left that had not seen lost yet.....I'm going to talk about it because I finally watched the last three episodes yesterday and I didn't think it was good. By good, I expected some answers. They moved the Island and blew up the boat....ok.....and the rules are that whoever moves the Island, has to leave it.....so Ben left. Who makes up these rules that Ben and Penny's dad are playing by? And if Locke is the new Ben, then how did he end up on the mainland dead? I have to assume that father and daughter.....Christian and Claire.....are both dead.

Anybody have any ideas???

I think John got off the island by moving it again - the name he is using Jeremy Bentham - belongs to a real person - a philosopher who believed "the end justifys the means". Which kind of goes with his way of thinking (I saw a hint in EW to search for the name on-line). Wikipedia is where Ifound the info.

I assume Claire is dead as well - since we know her father is dead and she is now with him.

I think Sawyer was asking Kate to see someone from his past - maybe daughter?

I think Jin is dead.

As for the island and the rules :confused3 maybe the whole island was an experiment in the past - like the Philadelphia Experiment involving alternate dimensions and time travel and not many know about it anymore.

Don't have much time to spend on the boards now. I have 60 swap items due on the 20th and 2 prototypes due then too. Today I bought 2 new cricut carts, one was Pooh, and mom bought Wii Fit. Tomorrow I go to my moms to scrap (work on swaps) and shop, babysit, and get the dog groomed. A week from Sat I leave for the beach!!!!(without DH, he has to work)

I love the Pooh cartridges. I only have 11 swaps - due the 25th. I'm using the Pooh cartridges for a Pooh paper piecing (need 8 of these) and a Tigger tag (need 10 of these). I'll post pics when I finish them - which needs to be soon!!

Would love to see pics of your swap stuff too!

Today I thought I saw Shannon at Wal-Mart but when she turned around it was someone else...... darn...... I miss familiar faces.......

KEN: Whose boat are you going to be ownership of? I wonder who owns that boat you saw in Cabo....
And, what is Cabo Wabo?

Jan :earsgirl:

Yes it is quite sad not being able to just wander around and seeing people. We sure do miss everyone.

I have no idea whose boat that was, but I just knew I wanted it (once I win the lottery I guess as my family seems not to have come through for me on my birthday)!

Cabo Wabo is a restaurant/bar/cantina in Cabo San Lucas that is owned by hard rock musician and former front man to the band Van Halen, Sammy Hagar ("Can't Drive 55" is one of his bigger hits in the 80's).

And in case you were wondering here is a pic of the boat Jan and I are talking about:

Ken: I am enjoying your photos! Today it is letting me post so I did.

You said: "Cabo San Lucas still curious about that building at the top of the hill."

I said : "If you mean the place on the left with letters on the hill, sounds like it is a residential community owned by the Diaz family. See http://www.pedregal.com/sitepages/pid51.php
Whoever you get that boat from could afford a place here I bet.

You said "Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line (that I am aware of) that is allowed to fire off fireworks."

I said: "A CM told us that when Disney asked to be allowed to set off fireworks from the ship there were no existing standards so they WROTE THE BOOK FOR THE INDUSTRY on safety standards for fireworks at sea. The fireworks are set off from the rooftop of Palo and all the AFT of the ship is blocked off and WET DOWN to snuff sparks."

Jan :earsgirl:

Thanks enjoy away!!! It is always nice to see others looking at and commenting on the pics.

I originally started posting pics on there because my mother lives in Kansas City and it is hard for her to see the girls, so the pics on the web is the only way she can really see what is going on. The Dropshots site is nice because it uploads them based on when the pictures were taken (if you haven't manipulated them and if your camera is set right). Plus with the comment section she can make comments that I then read to the girls so they can be a part of it too.

A week from Sat I leave for the beach!!!!(without DH, he has to work)

Hmm Matt, I feel for you buddy. Just note how excited she is to be heading to the beach WITHOUT you! Perhaps the last vacation was too much time together??!! LOL:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Marilyn,
How were you able to copy this? I want to save the whole thing as a movie file on my hard drive. Thanks for the help!

Cheri, it is an animated .gif file. Just right click on the pic posted and choose "save as".
