The West Bound with Mickey 2008 was fab...

The Photo of our legend (ship of theives) will go into the scrapbook - whenever I get to that...

And the door pen magnet was perfect.

I tried to jot a note on every disser's door I saw...I know I missed some of you.

None of our postcards have arrived yet from the PC day. I know that is Central America and we are the UK, but how about the rest of you?

my in law received it two weeks ago and my friend in Angus, /Scotland received it last week.

This is cool.

I didn't notice the movement at all.

That's what those MULES were doing--those silver engines that run along the side of the lock. Two on each side in the front and two on each side in the back with strong cables attached to the ship to keep us centered as the water flowed in beneath us. They had to control the cables and let them out at just the right speed to make that happen. AMAZING.

And, as the Canal Pilot said, they did not pull the ship from lock to lock as the animal mules did in the old canals in the US and Britain, the MAGIC moved forward under her own power. The mules just followed along and kept the cables on for the centering during the water level change.

The postcard we sent to ourselves arrived last Saturday, without a postmark, the others, all to UK addresses arrived before we got home around 28 May.

I haven't got the dcl gift yet - has everyone else received it?

Our DCL gift was a SHORESIDE SURVIVAL KIT with three 6 x 8 pictures done by Ducky. Mickey and Minnie on the shore, Goofy and Donald running to the water and I forget the third. We liked the Mickey and Minnie so have that as a magnet on the inside of our front door. I gave the other two to a friend with some other pictures and photos of someone's decorated door so her daughter can make magnets for their WONDER cruise next week.

Well, I've gained 3 pounds since returning home, so obviously I did better on the ship. Not sitting at my desk doing my normal daily routine.

Ahh, that is assuming that I get it done and understandable to someone not listening at the same time....which is not a guarentee!!! I absolutely panic at speaking in front of groups...but this talk if for MD's so the pressure is 10x worse for me. You would think after 12 years in practice I would handle it all much better, but nope, I still panic every time!!! If not the powerpoint, then I can send you the notes...but it won't be until later this week...I know I won't have it done before Thurs at 6pm That is early for me, the talk is at 7pm!

I must have had his faced logged in my brain from pics you posted of your previous vacation to Mexico. I thought when I first met you it was without your family, but maybe I had seen you together and knew in the back of my head that I actually did know him. You know how it was on the cruise everyone started looking so familiar after a while. I should have just said hi and introduced myself and then interrogated him about who was his family!

On the other hand, why don't you hop on a plane and I'll give you a crash course in speaking - I've been training speakers (mostly comics) for 16 years now. I can make you a great public speaker complete with hand movements, greetings and coordinated visuals and humor all at the same time!

ok, starting to pull our Oct plans together,. We are staying at OKW from 10/15-10/19....going to try and book a wishes cruise when my 90 day mark hits.
I have Crystal Palace for 4pm on a MNSSHP party night and I think we are going to celebrate Samantha's birthday there.

Thank you! I don't remember being there for that group photo, but I suppose I must have been because Tyler's there. I'm still trying to find time to read Monica's blog. I think I'm saving it for the weekend so I can read it all at once.

These balls are supposed to look like owls and scare the pidgeons and other birds away from sitting on the building, leaving messes and making nests. We have them in downtown Indianapolis.

I need one of those for the side of my house. Over my side door, going out to my driveway, is a favorite spot for birds. Tyler laughs at me fighting with them every spring. Our side door and porch steps are always covered with bird poop, so I'm constantly cleaning it. That was the great part of 3 days of severe storms! Cleaned it right up!

It absolutely cracked me up to come out of Walmart and see a big ship at the back of the parking lot! It just looked so out of place. Looked like the ship drove right up to the Walmart parking lot for us to do some shopping!

We caught a CM putting gear away in the fire fighter storage area and Tyler went nuts. I told the guy how into fire fighter stuff Tyler has been for a few years, and told him about how we watched a fire drill at some point during the cruise and saw the guys in all their gear, then he let Tyler try on a fire helmet:

Sukie and I just extended our trip in September to arrive a night earlier on Thursday, the 4th of September, so we can go get a license and get hitched over the weekend.

I wonder if we should consider DL the honeymoon?

Not sure if the Jungle Cruise or the Haunted Mansion is representative.
