I nearly as much of that as of pineapple (sorry I ate all the pineapple folks ;) ) Transatlantic ran out of Mickey Bars, we ran out of pineapple. BUT, did you notice? They still had some in the bars for the adult beverages. ::yes::.

Are you SURE you ate all the pineapple? I thought it was me! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh crap! Hearing my neighbors' van pull in, reminded me that I forgot to confirm with her about Tyler going to her home day care tomorrow and Tuesday. Yikes! We talked about it the day I left for vacation, she told me she has room for him for those 2 days, and when I asked her price, she told me we'd discuss details when I got home. I kept forgetting to talk to her about it. The summer child care at his school doesn't start until Wednesday. So......I'd better run over and ask her since he's already asleep.

But first, some pics from Mexican night:

More to come later!

OK, this is about 9 houses down from us and happened last night:

The whole city looks like that all over. Every street you drive down or look down while driving past has either a large tree completely uprooted or smaller ones thrown around. Unbelievable. BUT....I still haven't seen any damage to houses or other buildings in town, so that's even more amazing!

Yikes! How awful Holly. These storms just hit here about an hour or two ago, waiting to hear if a tornado is actually confirmed for about 30 km north of us. I may be seeing similar pics in the paper tomorrow morn, but at least we seem to be okay here except for branches etc down. I will need to call tomorrow to have my TV cable wires tightened. They are still hooked up and working but are close to lying on the ground. We are hearing there will be more storms moving through and are still under tornado watch :worried:

That is very good photo :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Jan,

Many thanks for your help and it was lovely to meet you both.

Great to meet you too!! So nice to see you and your family around the ship!

We were in the early show so did not see your interpreters very often but when we did we enjoyed them as well as the show. In fact, we wished they had been standing on the stage so everyone could see them. They were wonderful. Thanks for sharing them with all of us.

Yup, they came through, with tornadoes. We were on our way home from the movie, completely oblivious, but I saw the black sky off to the Southwest. I was going to stop and shop for new shoes for Tyler on the way home, but the sky looked so bad, I just wanted to get home because the storms yesterday and the day before did so much damage, I was worried about more of the same. Indeed, more of the same came. We got about 1/2 mile from home and as I was watching straight ahead, I was trying to figure out what the black mass was moving super fast across the sky in front of me was. DUH! Then we were in my driveway, hearing the tornado sirens. By the time we got in the house it was already past because we watched it go by on our way home. WOW!

Glad you got home safely!

So to all of my fellow cruisemate Fathers out there. Let me put this to you.

Last month we took our darling wives to Castaway Cay for Mothers Day. As things should be equal - what do we get for Fathers Day next week? :confused3

I'm glad you made it through safely and hope things stay safe for you. 3 days in a row of severe weather. Crazy! I just spent quite some time outside talking with neighbors and one took us to his backyard to show us his tree that was ripped out of the ground and landed on another neighbor's garage! Another neighbor told me that the thing I saw blow up into a huge blue ball of light as the black clouds zoomed by was part of the electric company, a bunch of units along the river, he called them "chillers". I have no idea what that means, but where they're located is exactly where I saw the explosion, so that was definitely it. Tyler keeps asking me what it was that we saw blow up, so now I have an answer for him. I'm sure I'll see it on the news tonight. Crazy stuff!

:rotfl2: How about news of an unexpected souvineer from that Mother's Day cruise?! :rotfl:

So if Father's Day is next week, that means I get extra free time! Whenever one of his dad's holidays falls on a Sunday, instead of me picking Tyler up from his dad's on Saturday and taking him right back over there the next day, I always just let him stay straight through the extra day. MORE MOMMY TIME! :yay:

I can't begin to tell you how many olives I had on the cruise...nearly as much of that as of pineapple (sorry I ate all the pineapple folks ;) ) Transatlantic ran out of Mickey Bars, we ran out of pineapple. BUT, did you notice? They still had some in the bars for the adult beverages. ::yes::

And here we thought we were the ones who used it all up. I asked for pineapple at Goofy's one morning when SILVIO was there (manager for TOPSIDERS) and he got me some. I think he got it from a bar as it was a little harder and smaller cut than we usually got.

I'm stumped.

This is going to be hard to top. You guys arranged a Castaway Cay day on a Sunday when ships are not usually at the island. We are MIGHTY IMPRESSED!!

Thanks to all the husbands from all the wives as, whether or not we have had children of our own, we have loved, nurtured and cared for other people so I think all women should be honored on this day.

When Tyler saw this picture yesterday, he said, "Oh, Samantha had Bobby that night". ;)

:rotfl2: Maybe on Saturday, but he might be doing something special with his own kids that weekend. It's definitely an option though! ;)
