Hi everyone! I feel like a loser not keeping up with you all. It has been CRAZY since coming back. Can't remember if I posted this or not, but right when we came back I needed to go on a 4th grade camping trip to the gold country - 60 4th graders and a handful adults. I was "lucky" to have my name picked as a driver. Went from being served 24-7 to sleeping on some REI 2" mat that I swear looked thicker in the store. Got back on the week-end to a couple sick kids, and then had a board meeting. Got ATE alive at the meeting...or at least it seemed that way. Took a week to recover, and now at work today things are feeling normal.

I read just a page or two - and see that there are a few congrats in order - Ian! Best wishes! Gaylean and John - Happy birthday! John, not sure I got the whole picture of the governer thing, but it sounds exciting.

I miss our cruise....I want it to start over....

Vanessa goes home in 1 week and 1 day....I just can not believe it. Where did this year go??

Westfield High School relented and they are letting Vannesa walk in Graduation on Wednesday!! She is so excited. She got her cap and gown today. The graduate at George Mason University. It is the largest High School graduation to ever happen in the State of VA. There will be 855 graduates!!

Great news!!!

We loved it. It was so much fun!!! Very original, I thought it would be too much like Buzz Lightyear, but not at all. Also, the sign said 60 min.,but it was only 35 min wait.

Our sign said 45 minutes and it was!! Couldn't believe the building in the queue area was not air conditioned. It must have been 10-15 degrees warmer in there!!

We were afraid it would be like Buzz also - but it was very original.

Heather, I was so sorry to hear that you were so sick....I can't believe it because we just saw you at Talkin Crush and you were fine. Did it happen right after that or were you already starting to feel bad by then? You seemed ok to me. I'm glad that you're now home and able to recover. I'll be thinking of you!

Thanks deb, Im doing alot better. I had a sore throat that week ,like alot of people said thay had from the ship but when I got home it went right to my chest and I had high fever and cough and was shocked when I was told I had right lower lobe pneumonia. I just think it was the weather change and being on the go constantly. The extra week at disneyland did me in but we had alot of fun there.
We talked to 2 more cast members too that day that had been on the cruise.
Tom and I are trying to decide what to do next. We have been talking about a Alaskan cruise but nothing can compare to DCL so we might just hold out for the 2010 announcements and see what happens.

I would love to do that except that Bethany is in school then.
We justified taking her out for the canal but I think it would have to be something really special to do that again.
We really want to do Austrailia next summer but I just dread that flight.

Ive been relaxing and putting pics into my albums. We had around 1500 and sent them to walgreens and when I went in to get them the next day, the lady goes "Ohhhh, your the one"!
She said she was tired of looking at Mickey pics for 6 hours. I just started LOL but she didnt think was funny.

I must have been the only person on the ship who DIDN'T get that picture! Thank you, everyone, for your offers. Michelle scanned hers and sent me the file. I uploaded it to Costco tonight and will pick the print up tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll have my own that will look (nearly) as good and cost a whole lot less!

Mom is the same....she did eat for me yesterday when I came back from my business trip.

Hi Lisa, I'll keep your mom in my prayers. There's lots of folks to pray for these days.
