Note that the organizers of Comic-Con are considering moving it to Anaheim, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas for 2011. IMO moving Comic-Con from San Diego would be an enormous sell out, the convention would lose its soul. If it's more money they're after, just raise the ticket prices. The event sells out in days, obviously there's more demand than supply!
Next year it will still be in San Diego. They already have the dates listed for next year on their website and list SD as the location (and they BETTER not move it because I bought my tickets already!). It is 2012 that it could move.
SD, Anaheim, and L.A. are all about 60 - 90 minutes from me so I really don't care where they have it. As long as it isn't Las Vegas! I'm afraid if they move it, there will be a lot of kinks to work out that they seem to have a handle on in SD.
I have to say that I was prepared for the worst last weekend and ended up being pleasantly surprised. The prepaid parking was a breeze. Traffic was non-existent. It was crowded at times and there are some long lines, but nothing anyone who as been to Disneyland can't deal with. And I laid eyes on both Ian Somerhalder and Nathan Fillion.
It was a blast and I can't wait until next year!!
