West Side Story :]

I booked the role of Rosalia in West Side Story this summer!! She is listed as one of 10 principal characters. (out of a cast of 65!) Rosalia sings America with Anita, I Feel Pretty with Maria and the girls,....and Im hoping Ill have a good deal of lines in the show. Its a heavy dancing role, but Im ready.

After playing Juliet Im glad I have a different type of role. Im hoping Rosalia has more fo a comedic aspect.

My college is doing WSS in the fall, but I will be abroad for that semester so I can't do it.

Wow, I did not know Chita was the origional Rosalia! Those are some pretty heavy dancing shoes to fill. I had a feeling after 2nd callbacks that I was getting a heavy dancing role. They only kept 5 of us till the end (3 guys, 2 girls). It was a grueling audition....but totally worth it.
