I'm looking for basic feedback from anyone who's used Brightline train from WPB to Orlando. Ease of travel? Checked bags or not?
I've only ever done this via Amtrak. I'd be using LYFT to get to/from Brightline stations.

Couldn't be easier. You can check bags, but you don't have to. You can carry on two bags; I have usually had a large suitcase that I leave in the luggage area of the coach and a carry-on size bag that I put in the rack over my seat.

The Brightline Station is new and located at the new terminal in MCO.
I have taken the Brightline toPalm Beach but purchased the tickets after registering online . We receive discount offers frequently.
I prefer to pay extra for the lounge area and the seats are larger in the reserved cabins plus a host to assist .
When I walked thru the standard seating area it looked crowded .
I really love using Brightline for travel .It was a lot more fun than driving.
If you have the time and plan to check out the new terminal gift shops and restaurants, I think you will need to register for security pass since you aren’t flying out of any of those gates.
The new Universal Store has 2 levels and is amazing .
I’ll try to post more info later today.

Rode it this past June. Experience was awesome. We rode premium class (whatever they call it) drinks and food included at both the terminal and on the train. You pay extra for that in smart class.

My family and I took the Brightline from Ft Lauderdale to West Palm.

We bought whatever were the cheapest seats and did not pay for checked baggage, just took our luggage on with us and found a place for it in the train car.

It was easy and simple.
