West Palm Beach Airport to Vero Beach

Has anyone ever driven from West Palm Beach Airport to Disney's Vero Beach Resort? We are considering doing this as opposed to flying into Orlando. Thanks.

We did it a few years ago. It was a fairly easy drive. I can't remember how long it took though. It wasn't quick though...maybe 90-120 mins? I'm sure someone here will have a better idea of timing.

We haven't tried West Palm Airport and hate the drive from Orlando. I love using Melbourne Airport (MLB) - convenient small airport with rental cars right outside the front door. And its a nice drive along the water either on Route 1 or A1A. You're limited to flying Delta or US Airways, though. I expected prices to be very high but have found some very good deals into there. Google maps shows Disney Vero Beach to MLB is 30mi / 45 min; but to PBI it is 85mi / 1.5 hours.

Not sure what info you would like but I live 20 minutes north of PBIA airport in West Palm and have visited Vero Disney numerous times. It takes approx. 1.5 hours using I 95. It is a little quicker than Orlando mostly due to less congestion driving. Hope this helps.
