Anyone see any one famous ont he magic on the west coast cruises? :cool1:

LOTS! Let's see there was Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Max, Wendy Darling, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Cinderella, Snow White, Chip, Dale and lots of others. :rotfl2:

Our tablemate was the DL artist Stacia Martin who did the "Behind the Scenes" on our west coast cruise. (6/11) They only told her 4 days before the cruise that she would be going! She is a celebrity to us!

Cool! I used to work with Stacia when I worked at Disneyland. She worked in the Disneyana shop on Main Street. So is she an artist at the Studio now?

She works at Disneyland. Her associate was Emily. (who helped her with her presentation). You can see pictures of her in my photo album posted on another thread. That is one of the places she had pictures of in her presentation.(Disneyana) She goes allover now and is a DL historian also. That is so neat that you worked with her!

Chris Harrison the host of The Bachleor was on the first west cost cruise. We spoke breifly with him and he was very nice.

We were concierge on 6/4 and put our host "on the spot" when we asked about celebs! He looked embarassed and his facial expression said it all...! "Please don't ask us as we can't tell." My 9 year old daughter says she saw the star of Deep Blue Sea (altho I would have no clue who that would be). They were filming new vacation club video and we were able to watch some of this tedious work. I give performers a whole new respect now as I see a 5 second scene can take hours to film.

I'm on the Magic right now. I haven;t seen any celebrities, however at the evening show (I can't remember if it was Saturday or Sunday) te cruise director made an announcement that basically said "if you see someone famous, leave them alone"

Yes, we saw Chris Harrison all over the ship with his family. Just 3 days before we cruised, he was also sitting a few tables away from us at a local restaurant. I bumped into him at Topsiders, but I was too embarrassed to say hi and let him know that I saw him a few days ago at the restaurant. I didn't want him to think that I was stalking him. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Also, my DW was having a nice conversation with a man on a bus during our tour of Cabo. I was sitting way in the back with my DD so I couldn't tell who she was talking to. When our cruise ended and we were looking at some of the other DIS-ser photo albums, she was shocked to find out that the nice man she had been conversing on the bus was none other than Don "Ducky" Williams, the famous Disney character artist.
