Were you happy with your Memory Maker Photos?

I think it's just 7DMT and ToT.

I thought they had added it to a 3rd ride now? I would have to double check, maybe it was just a rumor. :confused3

I will be using MM for the first time on my upcoming solo vacation. I usually was the "official photographer" on past family vacations, so wasn't in a lot of pictures (as my daughters pointed out). They suggested I purchase the MM, so that besides the wonderful memories I'll bring home, and the pics I'll be taking at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, I will also have some photos of me enjoying myself immensely :) !!!!!

Thanks for the suggestion of checking each days photos online so it will be easier for Disney to correct before its too late :)

Hope everyone enjoys their upcoming trips!!!

This was exactly why we did the MM too. I was much less reluctant to hop in the picture when it didn't include handing over my expensive camera :)

Many of our favorite vacation photos have been from Disney photographers. In all of our trips we've only had lost shots 2x...one was found the other set was not. Plus it was great to have the whole family in all of the shots-it was finally apparent that my mom actually was with us! Haha :rotfl:

We found that MM was especially nice when our group split up to do different things-and the kids would find PP on their own to do "funny" pics-was highly entertaining to look at when we got home. They didn't have the video part when we went last time so really looking forward to that this trip!

We did a share last year and were happy with almost all of our pics. The last set of pics we did, Epcot at night just before we left - there was a light behind us that washed out my friends face. Fortunately they took 2 or 3 shots and only 1 was bad though.

I don't think that's quite right. The way I'm reading it, after you do your first download, you then have 30 days to add more pictures to your account. You can then download them as many times as you want until they expire, which is 45 days after they were taken. This is what I'm basing it on:

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/memory-maker/usage-window/

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/memory-maker/download-period/

All pictures expire 45 days after they were taken. If you were qualified for a download (through Memory Maker, individual picture purchase, whatever) you can do that download until the picture expires. The 30 days for Memory Maker starts when you do the first download. The first download kicks of the 30 days worth of entitled downloads. So if your first picture was taken Jan 1st, those pictures (and their corresponding edits) would expire Feb 14th. You could wait until Feb 13th to do your downloads from your Jan trip (I suggest never waiting til the last minute with Photopass), and then still be able to claim pictures from a trip Feb 22-28, as long as your download them by March 16th (or 15th if you dowloaded on Jan 13th) But at the same time, if you had the first picture taken on Jan 1, and then downloaded it that night, then the last day you could claim "new downloads" should be Jan 30th. So you couldn't download the pictures from Feb 1 on your 35 day long trip (you did win powerball, right?).

One more question - do they still give you a photopass card like before or is it connected to your magic band?

I got the card in the mail but it's connected to the Magic band so I didn't use the card.

We were very happy with it in December, by the time I finished adding borders 290 pictures. Only had 2 bad ones, gal must have been having a bad day in FL and cut our heads off, LOL, just deleted them and forgot about it. They also add a few things to some of the pics, at AK, looking at the pics and there's Zven licking the picture.
Does anyone have a complete list of which rides have video that I can get with my MM?
The ride photos I can remember were, 7DMT, Space Mountain, RR Roller, EE, Dinosaur, TT, BTRR?, Buzz, I'll have to look at my downloads to see if there were others.:)

My avatar is from our last trip. I logged into our account and hit print screen and then pasted into Paint. I cropped off the edges and saved. I don't print them. I just save them in a folder and use them for my screensaver. We have been so many times we don't take many pics anymore.

drnp was asking about ride videos, not ride photos. ;) I'm only aware of 7DMT and ToT having videos.

Does anyone have the link to buy the CD? I have purchased MM and thought I could also purchase a CD instead of downloading. We live in the stix and our internet is too slow to download quickly.

We purchased the CD and would definitely do it again. I seem to remember receiving an e-mail with the link?

Geez...that will teach me to quit speed reading, I completely missed the video part..:oops:Where's that banging my head on the desk icon?:rolleyes1

I loved it and would do it again on the next family trip. My DD's hate posing for pictures, so it was helpful to have the line "This is paid for, your stopping"

The lines were never long.

However, I'd like to see more picture spots. 1/2 of all the pictures are in front of the castle. We went to MK most days and if the clothes weren't different they would have all looked the same. Especially in WS. We went there almost every day and the only spots were by the IG and in front of the fountain in France. There are so many beautiful spots in WS.
