Were you ever sick at Disney?

2 years ago we were up there right after hurricane Frances (the first one to hit us from the 3 in the past 2 years). We went up there because we had no power and our house was getting mold that dh had to have the carpet and wall ripped out. We had already had a 3 night trip at BWV planned for a week later so we spent the first week at Pop Century.

The day before we were moving to BWV we were at MK and my oldest was feeling not so well. We were in front of Paco Bills to see the parade. She made a run for the toilet to vomit and I noticed she was burning up. I sent my sister back to the hotel with the rest of the kids and I took Hannah to first aid. Pretty much because I didn't have a thermometer with me and I didn't think at present time she would make the hike and ride all the way back to the hotel (it was really hot out too). So we went in and they took her temp 103.1 and gave her some motrin and water and let her lay down for awhile. After about an hour I was able to get her back to the room where her sister was starting to not feel well. We stayed in the room that night & dh had driven up for the rest of the vacation.

The next morning my sister left for home and the girls were claiming they felt fine so we headed to Animal Kingdom. We had packed up the car because we were checking into to BWV today and after AK would go back to PC and get the car and drive over. We half way there and the girls both started complaining that they were feeling really bad. They were crying by the time we got off the bus.

So much so that we decided to skip AK and get on the bus to BWV and try to check in and home a room was available (this was at 10am). We went to the bus stop for BWV, there was no one else around except a few CM bus drivers. One of them saw the crying kids and asked where we were going and told us to hop on his bus and he would take us there right away.

So we get to the BWV and we were met by the supervisor on duty. He personally checked us in and found a room that was available right then and there because he felt so bad for my kids. So then he tells dh that he will personally give my dh a ride back to Pop Century to get the luggage instead of having to take a park bus and get off at the park and get on the PC bus... I thought that was so sweet.

We get to our room and 45 minutes later I hear a knock at the door. It is the manager on duty. He brought us a small bottle of tylenol, motrin and childrens mylanta and some bottled water. I thought that was SOOO sweet of him!

The girls were feeling MUCH better after napping in the room all day and we were able to go to Epcot for the night.... the next day they woke up to spots all over them. Turns out they had roseola!!!
