Were there AP rates late August 07?

Hello,

I've done a search and I can't turn anything up...does anyone know if there were AP rates last August? I'm looking at the 20th to the 28th of this year, so around that time last year...we'll be too early for free dining I imagine, if they have it.

I'm trying to crunch the numbers and see if we're better off with APs than MYW packages...plus of course if we already HAVE the APs, then when March Break / Christmas / Next Summer come around, I can say... "But DH, it will be VERY CHEAP to go to Disneyworld becuase we just have to pay for the hotel!!!" teeheehee.

I'm specifically interested in what the prices were for the Deluxes, both the Lodges and the others, maybe Poly and BC.

Does anyone know where I could find the info out if I can't find it on here? I want to figure out if we would be worth it to get APs...acutally likely PAPs so we can do the water parks as well... I've read some amazing rates for AKL/WL from last August like 139.

Did anyone get anything like that??

I can't help you with prices for deluxes since we stayed at POFQ, but we got an AP rate there of $99 (down from the rack rate price of $165). This was a 40% discount. The AP special rate began 8/5 and ran through 9/29. It was announced on 6/20.

Hopefully this will help you. We were there last August from 8th - 19th. The AP Rate came out approximately June 20 or 27th. I know it was a Wednesday.

I do not remember what the prices were for the mods or values because i needed one for the POLY.

And we got it....POLY GV for $249 per night. after taxes it was $280. for a total of $3081.

Yay thanks so much for the info. I'd love to hear more. I'm tempted to just make an executive decision and book BC for 3 days. I figure if we do 5 days at POP, kids will be a bit parked-out by that time and we can really get the benefit of SAB for the last 3 days.
