And we're not fibbing, of course - Splash, Space, Big Thunder...!
I've never done a PTR before, but this year I've been inspired. I'm starting this Report while sitting in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge! I happened to be in Orlando for business this week, and instead of working in my room or meeting with customers, I decided to sneak off to my favorite place in the World. I'm planning to take a launch over to the CR to watch Hallowishes in a few minutes. My kids are not going to be happy with me when they find out about this...
Speaking of the kids - we're not planning to tell them about our trip until we get here, or if they figure it out on their own in the car. My DS is 9, DD is 6. I'm pretty sure they'll figure it out when they see the "Welcome to Florida" sign on I-95!
We typically visit WDW annually, although we told the kids that we were skipping this year. That was the plan, but I think DW and I recognize that the kids are growing up so fast, and WDW is a wonderful place to share fleeting childhood memories with them. SO... We'll be back this October!
I'll give more details after the fireworks tonight. In the meantime, I'll let the WL vibe continue...
