We're taking Grandma on the Magic! May 2012 PTR!

Love all the pictures...especially the ones in China.

I agree that Yakitori house isn't very good... not horrid, but definitely not on my "must go to" list.

Can't wait to read about your change!

guys i have planned to have a voyage on Disney cruse. please suggest me some places to visit in Hawaii . and some one told me that if i have a Disney card then i can get a discount up to 40$, so please tell me how to get that card please..

I am not sure about Disney Cruise discounts with the Disney Visa Card. Ann, are you familiar with this? As for Hawaii, I have never been so I can't really recommend any areas to visit there. Perhaps, you should start a thread on this board to ask others. I'm sure there must be someone who has traveled to Hawaii on a cruise or otherwise on these boards that would have great recommendations for you.

Thanks. DFi loves all things asian so he was really excited about the China Pavillion and the Terracotta warriors.

I will be posting about the change soon. Especially since I don't have many pics left on the TR.

From time to time there are discounts offered to DV holders...but those are often just pre offers so to speak. Like...it is a discount that will be available to the general public...but goes to DV holders first. To my knowledge there is never a "standard" discount to DV holders.

And...never been to Hawaii. As was mentioned, you will probably find better luck venturing onto a board specific to Hawaii since this is a personal report of a trip to WDW.

It's been so long that I forgot to mention we also saw Captain EO, rode Figment's ride and Mission Space. DFi rode Mission Space 3 times.

We decided the day before that instead of spending our last full park day at MK, that we'd go to AK instead. It had been our favorite of the trip and there were things we still wanted to do there before we left. A few days earlier, I had started not feeling very well. However, I was able to tolerate it and still have fun. Unfortunately, this was not the case for our last park day. We woke around 9:30 or 10:00, got ready and left for AK. Once we got there, it was scorching. We were starved and were running low of DP credits so we decided to try the Yak & Yeti snack credit rice.

It was very delicious filling and definitely not snack size. DFi definitely says we are going to have this again.

AJ relaxing after our lunch.

After lunch, we went to EE so DFi could ride as single rider. I think he ended up riding it 2 or 3 times. After that we decided to go on one of the nature trails. We chose the one that I saw on my last trip. I had chosen it before because a few months before the trip, I watched a documentary on komodo dragons with my bestfriend. It was interesting but also funny at times so it became a sort of inside joke between me and my friend.

After the trail, the heat really started getting to us. Especially me since I had been feeling bad. So we decided it was best to go back to POP and rest up for departure day and our train ride. So our plan was to take a nap and then go for a swim before and after dinner. The nap part worked out but once we woke up, it was pouring rain and thundering. The kids were unhappy about this so we told them, we grab dinner at everything POP and hopefully the rain would settle down.

After dinner, it was still raining so went back to the room to wait it out. Unfortunately, it never stopped raining so we ended up just calling it a night so we could be rested and ready for our half day at MK and our long train ride.

Up next, departure day and a few issues along the way...
