After getting back from Narcoossee's and watching the fireworks from Contemporary, I entered an extremely deep sleep (since I basically hadn't slept the night before). My original plan was to eat at Art of Animation for breakfast and San Angel Inn for lunch, but I ended up oversleeping and missing breakfast completely. As a result, I pushed back my AoA visit to lunch after cancelling San Angel Inn - SAI is on my list for next time.
I'm taking a brief break from the food to show you some pics of Art of Animation, since I really enjoyed exploring the resort. As many of you know, Art of Animation is themed to four Disney and Disney-Pixar films: Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. Interestingly enough, The Lion King is my favorite Disney film, and The Little Mermaid is one of my favorites as well (as a Disney geek, you gotta love the film that started the Disney Renaissance!), but neither one of these resort sections is open yet.

Not a problem - the Nemo and Cars sections were still pretty cool.

And now, here are some photos of something that hasn't opened yet - The Lion King wing! During my visit, there was a fence around the whole section, but a certain friendly character was still visible through the fence.
Rafiki! He's welcoming you to Pride Rock (which seems rather off-scale, relative to the size of the characters).

Well, that concludes my brief photo update of Art of Animation. Coming up in the next update - food!
