We so love fireworks.
So we so afraid of crowds. We want to see Fantasy in the Sky, very desperately. We are APs who live only 30 minutes from the MK. Disney is doing FitS four times this year. We decided, in a ripe moment of insanity, to try and see it tomorrow (12/30) at the early showing.
We have tried to make a day of it, including lunch at The Wave (pondering whether or not we should try and park at the Contemporary), FP+ for Splash, Jungle, er Jingle Cruise and Big Thunder.
We were still considering canceling as the possibility of park closure arose (but so far only on Christmas Day) and really, did we want to try and find MK parking, work through all those crowds and not even knowing if or when we would find a spot to watch the show.
Well, I've already broken the budget for Christmas, and we did have a wonderful evening at Epcot on the 23rd, so when, after refreshing the screen over 20 times, I snagged 2 Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert tickets for the early show.
I mean, what the hell, I'm already well over budget, what is another $$$. But, this will at least guarantee a perfect viewing for something I truly love, Firework shows. Like my DW said, isn't this the reason we moved down here!?
So, we're nuts, but were going (thankfully my cold isn't as bad today, so hopefully I'll be even better tomorrow).
