We're on board!!!

Hi everyone!!! We're here...and the ship is FABULOUS!!! For some reason we embarked an hour earlier than usual today -- they had a note about it on the navigator.

I'm at the Cove Cafe right now...the kids are in the club having a blast! Dinner was great! We have Sasha and Maria as servers. The boat rocking a bit right now..but not too bad.

The stateroom is goregous! we're in 8564. Oh and the lifeboat drill...no big deal at all. it was a little uncomfortable but you are under shade, so you're not in the direct sun.

We had a mini DIS meet last night at Grills, it was pouring though, so not a great night to be there. We've met lots of DIS'ers though..it's a blast!! It's amazing how you keep seeing the same people.

Okay...off to enjoy my cappucino and the ocean breeze. More soon!!

P.S. we had to sign waivers today..they are filming and taking pictures for DCL's website this week!

It was nice hearing from you, have a MAGICal week. I watched you sail by the Two Palms cam about 5:35 this evening, it was another beautiful sight!!!

I just took a few minutes break from reading my book, "Panama Canal By Cruise Ship" to check messages. It's back to my book!!!

hope you are having a wonderful time.

If you get chance could you check out if Tea and Coffee is still free in room service? There is another thread saying that the DCL website says there is a charge for this. We have breakfast everyday on the verandah and it is the highlight of our holiday. Although of course the cost wouldn't make it a no go, it would take the edge off! (especially on the 14 day repo cruise).

I know the coffee his. my DH ordered a carafe late last night (yep it was still hot this mornig!) no charge. I'll find out if there's a charge for tea..I'm a tea drinker but I brought my own. We also ordered a plate of cookies and they sent up two!! one chocolate chip, one oatmeal raisen and the cheese and crackers was very nice, too.

Hope you're having a magical time. Isn't Sasha great? You better watch your waistline, though. He'll be bringing out extras of everything for you to try. If you think about it, would you mind asking Sasha if he will be on the ship in November. My kids, Jeremy and Katie want to request him as our server. He was the highlight of our last cruise!
