OH, AMY!!! I am just thrilled w/ your TR.
1. It makes me so happy and proud to see the outfits made by my dear friends being loved by a family. All of them are great but I especially like the mickey shirt and skirt Denise made- she is my idol, she's so creative!!!
2. That girl doesn't even LOOK like Wendy!!!
3. My husband also takes pics of the scenery.....annoying isn't it. On our last trip I got a picture of a bee on a flower.. However cool a picture it was HOW am I ever supposed to know it was from MK????
4. I JUST LOVE THE BABY THINGS 1 & 2!!!!! You can tell that Shay Lynne was a goofball from the start
I can't wait to hear more...although my Dh is probably wishing I'd shut up about your TR!!!

Funny that your husband is part of the boring picture club, too. YES, it is very annoying!!
You will get to see Denise's outfit again on our next day, Day 6!!
"Goofball" doesn't describe the half of it! Shay Lynne is such a funny girl!! And did you see how Clay was copying her silly face? That's how it always was when they were younger--it was almost always Shay Lynne's idea!
Oh and I really WISH I had this picture from my wedding in my computer...I'll try to scan it in tomorrow. I have really fine hair and after the first dance and father daughter dance I wanted to take out my veil (this was the plan all along) BUT my hair was so fine that the added pressure of the 2 combs nesstled next to each other was actually holding my tiara in so it kept falling out. My dads cousin is a hair stylist and had done my hair for the wedding so she grabbed a fork and starting teasing that section of my hair to get the comb to stay in.. OF COURSE my photographer thought this was a photo op..

Just so you know, even the pros have forked a head or 2!!!

That is so hilarious. Please post that pic!! I'm glad to know my techniques are considered professional! You do what you have to do when you're desperate!!
Thank you for reading, Tifani!!!
Amy, I absolutely LOVE your trip report. I can't get off my computer, because I'm constantly checking for updates. I'm a complete sucker for all the photos! If you have any of the inside of your GKTW villa, would you mind posting some of those. I know that was probably completely obnoxious of me, but I LOVE pictures!! And I like to see things ahead of time. (I even peek at Christmas presents

)
You're doing a great report!!
Misty
Thank you, Misty!! We took a few, and I just saw HeatherN's TR and she posted a few, too. Her villa was actually prettier than ours! But ours was plenty nice, for sure. Please excuse the messy table. The kids tore into the snacks and toys immediately. Here you go...
I didn't get a pic of it, but there was a second bathroom, too. That was so nice for a family of our size!! The kids had the nicer bathroom, which I thought was appropriate since that place exists because of children! Maybe between my pics and Heather's pics, you can get a good idea of what to expect. I love to know what my presents are ahead of time, too!
Your day at Universal sounds AMAZING! I am so glad that Clay got to meet Fred! How cool is that! And the extra time he spent with him. I sat here crying! I hope Clay remembers this trip always!
I know he will, and we will as well. I am so, so, so glad we didn't miss Universal! But I think it could be a separate trip all on its own.
What a great trip report! I am not sappy at all and I got teary reading about Clay meeting Fred and riding the Mummy with him. And the picture from the ride, Fred it looking at Clay to make sure he is having fun, so sweet! You'd better write that e-mail so his bosses know what a great person he is!
My husband insists on taking pictures on the safari ride at animal kingdom. I call them the blurry animal collection because they are all out of focus. At least now with digital I can just erase them when we get home!
Don't beat yourself up about the pool thing. My youngest started screaming for help and I was right there watching her. And she is an excellent swimmer.
I can't wait to hear the rest of your report!
Thank you for making me feel better about our episode at the pool. That's funny about your collection of blurry animal pics! What did we ever do without digital? Had lots of wasted prints due to husbands, I guess!!! Thank you for following along.
Amy
Okay, I am crying now too. What a wonderful story about Clay and Fred. I had to read the whole story to Mike, Mandy and Tim and my cute MIL who is here visiting us. I didn't mention BTMR though! My kids love ScoobyDoo where are you? Fred will be my favorite from now on!
I love Dr Seuss too. Probably my favorite book is Sneetches. I love Too Many Daves and "Pale Green Pants" (I'm not sure if that is the name) One of my very favorite lines in all children's books is in that story--"I do not fear those pale green pants with nobody inside them, I said and said and said those words. I said them but I lied them!" I read the entire book to any child who will sit down with me anytime, anywhere. My grandkids know that I can read most of it by heart so they think I'm cheating when I read it to them.
I am so excited to hear more!
Denise
Fred is forever my fave, too! If you watched the video you saw that Daphne was really, really sweet, too--but they all were, even Scooby. When I look at all those pics of the Gang and all of them in front of The Mystery Machine, my heart just melts at the memories!!
I loved hearing about your favorite Seuss stories!! When you've read them over and over you can pretty much quote the whole thing by heart without looking. Our fave is probably either
Grinch or
Cat in the Hat or
Green Eggs and Ham (we loved meeting Sam I Am!). Clay is such a picky eater that it fits him so well. Every once in a while I'll make the kids green eggs and ham, and they love it! Except this weekend Clay decided he wanted red eggs and ham. That was one gross-looking omelet!! The other kids weren't too wild about the red eggs!! Running into all those Seuss characters at IOA was definitely another magical moment because we hadn't seen them on our first day there.
