I just love that Spongebob shirt! Clay looks so happy with it! Your trip is getting so close are you as excited as I am???
OMGosh, you have no idea. Well, yes you do because your trip is almost here, too!!! YAY!!! :goofy:

I am just in awe. We just received another magnificent outfit today!!! Lisa (LisaZoe on the DISboards) made Clay a Pirate Mickey outfit!!! It is just awesome--really, so so cool!!! I can tell it must have taken so much work, with all the different pieces appliqued the way they were. I am just astounded!!! Here are a few pics (notice that Clay wore his beloved SpongeBob today that Jessica made for him!!):

Shay Lynne was kind of in the big middle of everything and wanted to be in a pic, too (although she was concerned that her shoes didn't match)! The last pic is of Clay standing on a chair in the bathroom to get a better look!! It is so cute how excited he gets!!! Lisa also sent a letter with the Pirate Mickey outfit. It was from Mickey himself, and it explained that he and the gang heard Clay and his family were coming for a visit...and when Daisy and Minnie heard how much he likes pirates, they decided to make this shirt and shorts for him! I love Lisa's letters!! I realize now that she is the one who made Hannah's Cinderella dress, and I loved the cute letter she sent to her about the mice making the dress for her! The kids LOVED this letter--it was in Disney font and everything!! Lisa, you are wonderful!! Thank you for doing this for us! I can't wait until Lance gets home from his trip--he will love it as much as we do!

That is such a cute outfit and love the picture of him checking himself out in the mirror.
Let Shay Lynne know that her shoes look cute with her out fit.

Oh my goosness, that Mickey outfit is way cute. I love Lisa's designs! It looks like Clay loves it! Tell Shay Lynne not to worry about her shoes, they are cute and by the way Hannah has that same Bambi outfit!

That is such a cute Pirate Mickey outfit! Clay looks so happy trying it on - I'm sure seeing these pictures is wonderful for the DISboutiquers, a chance to see those happy faces. The letters from Lisa sounds really sweet, too.

So much thought and effort goes into these Big Gives - it blows me away. I know that those of us who are Wish families have shared our children's challenges, so we can relate so easily to each other. For so many DISboutiquers to reach out and do something so wonderful for you and the other Big Give families - well, it just makes me tear up every time I check out a picture!

Your trip is coming up so soon!!!

Alison

That is one of my favorite pics, too. He just seems amazed at these last two outfits. I'm pretty amazed as well. I'll tell Shay Lynne! We have never worried about Crocs matching in the past, but for some reason I guess she's going through a stage--LOL!

I love them, too!! Lisa is awesome. And don't you love Disney Store clearance stuff? We have a pink Marie dress, too. Tell Hannah to bring her Bambi outfit, and we'll bring ours, and maybe they can put them on for a picture together (like we'll have time for that stuff!!). Wouldn't that be cute, though?! I also hope to get pics of our kids together in some of their customs. I sure hope we run into y'all some!!

Spongebob and Mickey look awesome!!!!!! I can't wait to see what else your family gets! :goodvibes
Thank you! After these two, I have no idea what to expect!!!

Oh, I know, Alison. The fact that people who don't even know us would do something this huge for my family, well, it just blows me away, too. It is all just such a precious gesture!! Thank you for being so happy for us. :)

SpongeBob and Pirate Mickey, Is there anything more fun than that? Well maybe Disney World in 12 days:laughing: Now having fun clothes to wear in a fun place is pretty incredible isn't it? Once you and Heather go, we will be at about the one month mark. And won't all those kids look so fine courtesy of the wonderful hearts of the disboutiquers.

Have a marvelous day!
Denise

I LOVE that pirate Mickey outfit! (So would my boys :rotfl: ) And I happen to know that some very cute stuff is coming soon for Shay Lynne! :cool1:

Believe me, this last month is going SO fast!! It's just unbelievable. I am starting to stress because I haven't started packing yet!! I need to work on a list--maybe that will make me feel better. Or maybe I could have Hannah come pack for me. She seems to know exactly what to take to Disney World (see post #13--so cute!)!!

The only problem I see in all this is that we won't be able to decide which one to wear, and when!!! But what a wonderful problem to have!!!!! I heart the DISboutiquers, so, so much.

Tessa has the pink Marie dress, too! It was only $6! :cool1:

I sent out a package for Clay on Tuesday. I hope it gets there soon!

Dear Amy,

Fret not my friend. When you pack the clothes for the adults and older kids, remember that you will have a washer and dryer, so you can wear things more than once (do women do that?). Packing light is so important as you will be bringing a lot of loot back. After all the DISboutiquer stuff, you probably won't need much for the kids. You don't have to bring all your supplies either because Wal-Mart is 5 minutes away.

Just think where you will be at this time, 2 weeks from today.

Bill

You have got to see what Shay Lynne received today!!!! This was sent by Jessica (DIS id: mytwotinks). It is a Mickey Mouse tank and "twirly" skirt!!! The skirt has red dots, though, that remind me of Minnie's outfit. It is absolutely precious!!!! WE LOVE IT!!!!! She put it on and would not stop twirling around. I thought the girl was gonna make herself sick with dizziness! She also started walking down the pretend runway, swinging those hips the way fashion models do!! I wish I could've gotten that in pics!!! I took a ton, though. I'm not sure what the limit on posting photos is, but I may just be about to find out because we got two more packages today, too!! Photobucket's taking a while, so bear with me....
Notice how excited she was to get her first package. Also, notice what Clay is wearing!! He slept in his Pirate Mickey outfit last night, then wore it all day today!!!

How do these ladies do all of this detailed work so quickly???

And finally, a message from Shay Lynne for Denise and her two tinks, Riley and Drew (she's my extra-creative child!):
Make-a-Wish106.jpg
Denise and her two "tinks" sent us a sweet letter, and now Shay Lynne wants to be their friend. I might see a pen pal relationship in the works!! Denise, I tried to PM you, but your inbox is full. I wanted to say that the outfit is magnificent, and so are you!

I'm so glad she likes it! I can't wait for Riley and Drew to get up in the morning so they can see her wearing it!

Does it fit o.k.??? I was a little nervous, since I usually have my model right here to fit things to. I can't wait to see it in Disney!

It fits PERFECTLY. Everything about it is perfect!!! My mom saw her open it and took a couple more really cute pics. I'll post them for you once I get my other two sets of pics posted! We took way too many of her, but she was just acting so cute about it all. She was truly SO excited! And so was I!!!!! THANK YOU so much. This skirt is truly a work of art. First SpongeBob, then Pirate Mickey, and then this outfit for Shay Lynne... Believe me, I've cried some happy tears in the past few days!!!

We got two more awesome packages today, too. I will post the pics from them shortly...almost there.... :surfweb:

First let me say that in this house, WE LOVE PETER PAN. We watch it all the time!!! I just couldn't believe it when Clay opened his most recent package. It is from Heather (DISid: HeatherSue). Look at the pics below. It is the coolest t-shirt. I have lived a sheltered life, but I have never seen an applique like this!!! One of the kids said "It's like when Peter lost his shadow, remember?". I'm telling you, they love Peter Pan!!

Make-a-Wish073.jpg
Make-a-Wish075.jpg

The second pic was right after he realized who was on his new shirt!

Heather also sent two Goofy appliques (Clay also loves Goofy!), with instructions on how to affix them (thank you, Heather--the only thing I have ever sewn on was a button, and I probably did that incorrectly!).
Make-a-Wish088.jpg

Heather's kids, Tessa and Sawyer, colored the twins some cute Disney pictures (SO sweet!), and Tessa wrote a letter each to Shay Lynne and Clay. They were the cutest, cutest letters!!!! My kids LOVED that!!! So did I. Tessa sounded just like a typical five-year-old in the things she said. It was absolutely adorable. (My kids are growing up too quickly!!) Here are the kids looking at the pictures and reading the letters:

And here is Clay modeling Peter Pan...

I hope you can see not just the silhouette, but the details, too. The rope thingies (what are they called?) and the nets on the ship are stitches!!! I just love the uniqueness of this--and of all the outfits we've received. Heather, you are so very talented. Thank you so much for sharing your skills in this way, and thank you also for all you have done to make our trip spectacular!!!

I just can't believe the generosity!!! We got third package today...this one, from Sally (DISid: SallyfromDE). (*I had to post this last because Clay had already put on his Peter Pan shirt from HeatherSue, and I didn't want to give anything away.) :) Sally made every one of us a t-shirt!!!! They are awesome!!! Sally, we absolutely love them, and I am so, so touched that you would do something for each one of us!!! Ty and Madison were so excited to get something, and Lance and I were, too! The t-shirts are blue (we all love blue!), and there is a "WISH 2008" logo on the front. Within each letter are tons of different Disney characters! Then, on one sleeve Sally put the GKTW logo (Give Kids the World, the awesome place where we will stay). On the other sleeve, she put the DISer logo!! This is so amazing! For one thing, maybe we'll be recognized by other DISers, and for another, it is always great to be identified with GKTW b/c this is how the magic happens, I've heard. I tried to show everything as best I could in these pics:
Make-a-Wish090.jpg

They were so excited to open yet another package!!

Here are the logos...

Make-a-Wish099.jpg

We couldn't all be in one pic, so we had to take two (Ty was at a friend's house when we first opened the box...
Make-a-Wish094.jpg

Don't mind Clay, he looks a little Dopey. This was the best pic of ME, and that's what really matters, right? LOL!!!

So I took a pic of Lance and Ty once everyone was home...
Make-a-Wish095.jpg

Sally, you are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! These will be awesome on our trip! Thank you for making every one of us feel special, and thank you for making our trip even better! xoxoxoxo

I'm glad he likes the clothes (oops, I almost called it an outfit ;)). I don't often get a chance to do clothes for boys so this was a great opportunity to try something new.

You know a skirt is a success when the twirling begins. Hopefully Shay Lynne didn't get too dizzy.

(See Denise, it's not tacky or over the top. :goodvibes )

Isn't that one of the coolest tees ever!?! I've already warned Heather that I'm going to try to do something like it.

My mom took these and emailed them to me. I thought they were cute...

Make-a-Wish083.jpg

OK, I'm through now. Well, at least for the time being....

I am positively beaming! :goodvibes Thank you so much for posting all of those pictures!!!! I'm so glad Clay likes his shirt! He is SUCH a cute kid! It just does something good for my heart to see him modeling a shirt I made him!:cloud9:

Shay Lynne looks gorgeous in her spinny Minnie skirt!!! That is one of my all-time favorites!! She's such a pretty girl and she makes a wonderful model!

I absolutely love the picture of Clay standing on the toilet "checking his look in the mirror" :rotfl2: That pirate Mickey applique is awesome, as is everything LisaZoe creates!!

How awesome is Sally for making everyone matching t-shirts!? Wow Sally!! Yes, it's absolutely the standard that you post the best picture of yourself, no matter how goofy your children may look (and they don't look goofy anyway)! :thumbsup2

If you can't sew at all, you could just try ironing the goofys on and just hope for the best! :rotfl:

The limit for pictures and smileys in one post is 25. Not that I've ever exceeded that or anything. :rolleyes1 But, you can post 1000 pictures if you just break them up into 25 picture posts.
