We're not having a baby so let's go to Disney World. May 2009 PTR. We're HOME.

Ridemax has the attractions scheduled down to the minute. You can schedule your breaks and meals. I'm hoping the crowds will be low enough to have mostly walk ons so I won't need the intense plan but it's fun to play with. lol

having a general guide is probably better but it gives me something to play with to pass these next 49 days ;).

We just measured Madeline and she is right at about 35 inches. She should be able to rid Goofy's Barnstormer! April 1st is her 2 year check up so we'll get more official measurements then.

Day 6 & 7
Day 6 May 7 is another "off" day. We will most likely be going to Typhoon Lagoon this day. Afterwards we'll either do DTD or go visit some hotels. We'll also have laundry to do, fun, fun.

Day 7 May 8 will be Hollywood Studios.

We'll be there at rope drop and make the race for TSM. I haven't quite decided if we'll ride or get fast passes. I'm considering having Eric and my dad go ride TOT while mom, me and Madeline go grab fastpasses for TSM and then we'll meet up and RNR. After that we'll either do Little Mermaid or Star tours. With the big E attractions conquered we'll slow down our pace and enjoy. One must for me this day is Beauty and the Beast. I have never seen it before! I'm pretty sure my dad is going to want to see Lights, Camera, whatever that stunt show is called. I'm hoping to avoid Indiana Jones (been there done that MANY times although my dad loves it)

We have an 11am 50's Prime Time ADR but I'm seriously thinking of cancelling that and just bringing our lunch. I don't feel we have enough time. I'm gonna wait and see how the week is going before we cancel.

DHS is open from 9am-7pm. We plan on skipping nap this day. I'm hoping we get done around 5 so we can eat supper off property and then get a little swimming in before bedtime. We'll see.

I love the Beauty and the Beast show! I can't wait to ride TSM on our June trip. I always have a hard time deciding where to eat at HS. I think on our last trip we just got a snack and ate back at our resort. Your plans look great!

How did I miss your PTR for so long? Oh well, now I'm all caught up!

Madeline is ADORABLE!! You guys are going to have a blast! I love the Alice dress, I need to find one for Emily! ebay here I come!!:rotfl:

Your plans look great! There's a bunch of us DISers meeting up on 5/13 at AK for the safari ride at noon. If your up for it, join us! Most of us that are meeting have little ones too!

I've been contimplating getting Emily's haircut for the first time at Disney. Her hair is soooo beautiful and long, but I don't know if I can do it. She has curls at the end of her hair and I'm afraid they'll be cut out!!

Anyway, can't wait to read more!!!

Thanks. I'm thinking we'll either bring our lunch in and eat it while we're waiting/watching a show (Beauty and the Beast or LMA) or we'll eat at the counter service by Honey I shrunk the kids playground.

Thanks for the invite but we'll be doing the Behind the Seeds tour that day at Epcot. The first hair cut decision is SO hard! A few months ago Madeline's hair was at a weird stage and I was ready to cut it but now her bangs are getting long enough to put back so I'm not sure. I'm getting an annual pass so if I don't do it this time they'll be another trip to do it. ;)

I thought I'd post some of the clothes I'm planning for our trip. Madeline has so many clothes and they're all so cute it's really hard to decide but here's what I have so far.

For me:

I'll bring along another suit or 2 for her also.

for Animal Kingdom.

I have a bunch more to decide for her. Continued in next post.

I also have these other outfits. I need to decide what to bring!

These I have already and was considering for Epcot:

or I have this coming in the mail:

and

I also have a tank top coming that says I love dancing or I love to dance (it's apparently sold out now, SO glad I got it right away!)

Madeline also has tons of dresses. I'm trying to bring just 6 or 7 outfits and then do laundry to cut down on luggage but I don't know if I'm going to be able to stick to that!

I see you love babyGap too!! I refuse to do laundy on vacation, so I will be packing many, many clothes for all of us!

Usually I don't do laundry on vacation either but since we're there for 12 days (16 if you count the driving) I'm going to need to for Eric and I at least anyway. Also since we're driving and don't want to take the car top carrier we need to keep our luggage "light". I'm already bringing all those shoes so I need to be careful :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

Day 8- Off day:
Today we'll take it easy and most likely go to Gatorland. I've been here before and really enjoyed it. Eric and Madeline have never been. Madeline will either love it or freak out. She was scared of the little iguana at the pet store a few months ago but loves dinosaur and alligator books and little people so we'll just have to wait and see.

Day 9- Mother's Day Animal Kingdom
I'm excited about this day. We have a pre- park opening ADR at Tusker House. It's not until 8:25 (gonna see if Eric can change that if my sister doesn't come) They said we'll be at 2 tables. I hope they're 2 table next to each other! If it's looking like we won't be done at 9 I'll send Eric too get fast passes for Safari right away. I would love to see both The Lion King and Nemo but Nemo is priority #1 since I've never seen it. I think we'll skip the bird show. I HATE birds! I tink they're dirty and GROSS! I have a huge fear of getting pooped on. Anyway, we'll probably have to do a child swap for Dinosaur (I still don't understand why people think this is so scary) We'll do Everest of course (none of us have been on this so mom might want to ride. She usually does the rides at last once) I also want to do the charactr trails with Madeline. AK closes at 5pm so we'll probably go out to dinner on th way "home".

I'm getting so excited! I lent my Ultimat Guide to a friend at church yesterday who's going in early June. Her DH was there and was like don't you need that. I said no I've already read it and he's like "and have it memorized". Eric was hanging out with him on Saturday night so makes me wonder what he told him. LOL

I love and I am envious of all the down time you are planning. I have a park scheduled every day - we are going back everyday for most of the afternoons for naps/pool but I wish I had a day at least in the middle for nothing planned.

off days are much easier to do when you're there for 12 days. If we were only there for 7 we would maybe have 1 off day. With my parents and Eric off days are a must. Eric and I might end up going to a park at some point during an off day too.

The next 2 times I go to Disney before my annual pass expires will only be short 5-7 day trips. I'm hoping to do a Sun-Fri trip end of Sept or early October- so 5 nights. This way I can stay in a Disney resort and not have to pay weekend rates and hopefully get a nice AP discount. This trip will most likely be just Madeline and I. I'm thinking we'll stay at POFQ.

I love all of the clothes. I am having the same problem, I cannot leave some outfits behind, and I have 4 kids. So....I will be no doubt over packing.:goodvibes

I can't even imagine. Although if I had 2 girls then I could spread the outfits out a little more.

We'll be down there the same time, our trip is from May 5-16. :thumbsup2

oh fun! I'll have to look for your girls in gorgeous custom outfits!

I wanted to tell you about the Skip Hop saddle bag that velcros onto the side of your umbrella stroller. You could get one for each side and eliminate the bag hanging off the back and the stroller tipped everything your little one got out. We have one and it attaches to our Maclaren Quest really quick and easy and holds quite a bit.

I see you like Gymbo and Janie & Jack. Are you buy any chance on gymbofriends too? I am! I am MommyToAMiracle.

Thanks. I'll have to look into that.

yes I am, but I've given it up for Lent so it will be a few weeks until I'm back over there! My name's the same over there.
Plans look great and I love all of the clothes!

Thank you!
