My husband came in today and in one sentence said, "It's not responsible to take this trip. I'm sorry."

So now I'm crushed! I have so suck up the money from the Points we rented from someone and uninvite a kids to Disney that has looked forward to this all year.

I feel like I lost my best friend! :(

 I am so sorry. Can you sell the points or ressie to get some money back? Not that that helps with the feelings, but so you don't lose too much.

I'm so sorry! How is the job situation going with your DH? Maybe he's just feeling some anxiety over that and wants to be prepared in case he has to look for a new job. Is there a way to maybe shorten the trip to less days or something?

I'm sorry for you, too. I hope there's a way you can manage a trip in the future if this one doesn't work out. The previous poster mentioned your DH's job situation. Do you think he said that out of worry or is it final? Keep the faith and if this trip doesn't pan out you have a jump start on trip planning for a later date.

Sounds like there's something else going on with DH....or did you "assume" the trip was a go and he thought you were only at the talking stage.

I found my DH originally thinking that WDW was only for kids and was just characters running around--plus it can cost and arm and a leg if you don't plan well. Once we actually go there, he loved it as much as anyone!!

Maybe your DH is panicking because of what he heard from someone recently....sit him down and find out the reason behind the no. And if it's that important to him, don't push it. There's always other options to ease him into Disney slowly....

Good Luck and let us know how it turns out.

Ouch...sorry. :( :worried:
Sit down and talk to DH and find out why he changed his mind. Was there miscommunication between the two of you...did something else pop up...was he told something by someone that made him rethink Disney?
That's why I plan a couple years in advance for my trips. I talk to DH and make sure he knows everything that's going on. I ALWAYS pick the Allstars...get awesome rates as a FL resident...I purchase the Play 4 Passes for FL residents which knocks off about $200 from both our passes...and I budget one sit down meal a day for lunch. Dinner gets expensive in Disney!
Keep us posted and I hope everything works out for you.

Ahhhh....I just read your other thread. Your DH is a pilot and there was trouble with the airline he was working for and the job was up in the air...excuse my pun. Was that what finally did it for your DH...his job situation?

Please, let us know

I'm so sorry for you!! I hope Dh changes his mind. Maybe he'll want to go after the holidays? It gets crazy that time of year money wise with holiday shopping and all. It can be stressful on the budget. He's probably projecting all the costs and feels like it's to much. My Dh gets like this too. Once he sees things are manageable he lightens up.
