Although I'm all caught up....
Beautiful bathroom!
Eric 's missing teeth are so cute!
Bah on the snow when we can't get a single snow day here.
Your dates are in the middle of our June and July dates.
Last but not least I'm worried about your job or did you hear something and I missed it.....

Hey Diane.

We had no school either. I think it was closed because of how windy it was, as the snow was not bad here.

That wind was killer :headache:

We had some wind but not too bad! I sure hope we are done with winter!!:thumbsup2

WowWow.....$850...that's huge!!! That is fabulous...I can't help but think of all the other things you could buy with the money you're saving....grey goose slushies anyone:lmao:

Too funny!! YES, grey goose slushies for sure!!:thumbsup2

Wow! Great details here about you plans! The basic will save you a good chunk of $ sounds like a great plan. I also agree about the TIW card. It was 75.00 for the card but it basically paid for tips when you take the discount. Tip is included when you use the card. We used it for drinks and appetizers when we got them on the basic. We also used it for extra meals that we paid OOP. We definitely used it and so the cost upfront made sense. Good news about the snow days hopefully there wont be more added. Do you have to change your dates?

Thanks so much! I am looking into the TIW card too!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in updating but I am here now with one!:thumbsup2 WOW, what a CRAZY winter this has been! I feel like almost every update of mine has involved snow in one way or another! I was SO HAPPY to see February go! Well, we had a total of 7 snow days with NONE built into our calendar. Our administration has taken one day back from Spring Break, so now we have 6 to make up. I nervously approached my supervisor with our "dilemma" and she was extremely receptive and said that alot of teacher were in the same situation. She then proceeded to tell me that as a Phys. Ed teacher at the HS level we are not in class for the last 7 days of the year, because students only come in for final exams and then leave. She said that because I was a temporary replacement I could use my sick time and leave as planned for our trip without any negative reprocussions!:cool1::cool1: That made my week! I was so stressed out about what to do! So as of right now our plans are still in tact...however we will be pulling the boys out for their last 4 days of school. Their marking period ends about 9 days prior to the last day of school so they will not be missing anything!!!!:goodvibes

Now that we have chosen the basic dining plan, I figured I would post our plans!

Dinners @

Ohana (with Lesley and family)
Kona Cafe
Teppan Edo (w/ Lesley and family)
Boma
Jiko (date nightw/ Lesley and Tim)
Biergarten (w/ Lesley and family)
LeCellier

Breakfasts@

Crystal Palace (paying OOP) can't give up that empty Main St. USA morning!
Boma ( a first for us, can't wait)

We will be stopping to stock up on some breakfast items and adult beverages before we check in!

I am so relieved to have the stress of the school year taken care of that now I feel like we can finally REALLY look forward to the trip!!:goodvibes

Hey Diane! What great news! That is wonderful!! How nice when things work out like that!!! :goodvibes

And your dining plans sound GREAT, too! I have never been to Kona Cafe but it seems like a good pic!

What a weight off your shoulders, Diane! I know you must be so very, very relieved now!

All of your dining choices look yummy -- my stomach is growling just looking at them.

I am very excited for you that you were able to work out the end-of school year dates and don't have to change your trip! Great news! :thumbsup2

I love your ressies! I would love to try Le Cellier. And we might do Boma for breakfast one morning this trip!

So glad to hear your dates have worked and now you can enjoy your planning

Your meals look great. :thumbsup2

Glad you getting the time off won't be a problem. :thumbsup2 And you have some really great choices for restaurants! :cool1:

:thumbsup2 Glad everything worked out for you! We missed 7 days but luckily the school already had 5 built in to the calendar so they are taking 2 from spring break.

Dining reservations sound great! Will Kona be a first for you? We have never eaten there and thought about trying it when we go in July. We are staying at the Poly for so that might be a good addition.

Erika

Can't Wait!!! Can June just GET HERE already!?!?! Did I miss something?:confused3 Are you guys buying the Tables in Wonderland Card?

That is great about your snow days!! You should definitely give Kona a try, we LOVE it!

Lesley

Hi Lesley! I think we are going to get the TIW card. You can use it on appetizers and alcohol while on the dining plan and it is 20% off. We can use it for our OOP meals at the Crystal Palace and Jiko too! It is $75 and good for a year so between this trip and the fall trip and maybe next June, it will be worth it!! It does automatically get an 18% tip when use it though regardless of your party size!

That's very good news! You've got some great dining plans made, too!

Thanks so much!

Hi Diane - So glad to hear the snow days won't be an issue for you. What a relief ! Now you can really start planning and looking forward to your trip. Dining plans look great. It reminds me of my family we have our favorites we have to revisit but like to try some new places, too.

Diane,
Glad the principal was so helpful... when you are not used to that amount of snow they certainly should be. 7 days is a lot to have to make up! I am shaking my head at the end of the recording period for the boys being so early... isn't that crazy, and I know we end our grading early too, doesn't everyone!

Your meals look yummy. I am really wanting to add Kona onto our list for this summer... it might just happen.

The snow is finally melting and the sun is out... come on spring!

So happy everything worked out for you.....and I love all your ADR's. How nice that you can have so many meals with Lesley and her family....so nice to be there with friends isn't it?

Hi Laura! The sun is FINALLY out here today!:cool1: Our kids get their report cards on the last day of school and the supervisor of instruction has to review every childs report card before it can get sent home and that takes a few days! It is ridiculous that the state requires 180 days because the last 7 are pointless not to mention that they are 1/2 days to boot!:goodvibes

So happy everything worked out for you.....and I love all your ADR's. How nice that you can have so many meals with Lesley and her family....so nice to be there with friends isn't it?

Thanks Queen!!! Yes, it will be great to make some memories with Lesley and family!!:goodvibes

So glad that snow day situation worked out for you and won't hinder your vacation plans.

Great dining choices!
