I'm so excited to move into our new house, we were supposed to be in before Thanksgiving but of course it wasn't ready in time. Better late then never, I guess! Now that the time has finally come I'm starting to freak out a bit and I need some tips.
We moved out of our old house 6 months ago and have been staying with my parents since then while our house was being built. We went to our storage unit last night to load the truck and I'd forgotten how much stuff we have! Ugh! And I thought I got rid of a lot of stuff when we moved.
It's amazing after living without it all for this long, I don't even want it back-lol. But on the bright side it'll be like Christmas morning unpacking all our stuff we've forgotten about.
I sorted through a lot of boxes and left some there so we can sell some stuff we don't want/need in the spring. When we packed I marked some boxes with stars so I know it's the more important stuff and to open them first but I still feel like it will take forvever to unpack. I also packed a box with paper plates, napkins, paper towels, toliet paper, cups and plastic forkes and knives for the first couple days.
Dh works in the moving business so he's all casual about it but I'm freaking out. I guess it's easy for him to be mellow about it when I'm the one who will do most of the unpacking.
Any tips?
