We're looking at three different rooms on the Alaska cruise, on the Disney Wonder: 8056 (Port?), 8554 (Starboard?), and 8556 (Starboard?).

We're looking at three different rooms on the Alaska cruise, on the Disney Wonder: 8056 (Port?), 8554 (Starboard?), and 8556 (Starboard?). All are Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah (category 04A). Does anyone have a view as to which is best (or to avoid)?

We were in 8038 and BIL/SIL were in 8054. Great location for viewing. We could hear music on the verandah during Sail-Away from the stage above us, but it was quieter in their room (8054), and not as much traffic noise above. I don't remember where the smoking area is but we did not have the problem of ash and smell on the port side.
