My wife and I are going to be at Disney this weekend. We typically drive (thus can make a grocery store run), or fly and rent a car (thus can make a grocery store run). But this time we are using Magical Express and as such are "trapped" onsite. So I was wondering what was the best way to get a case (24-36 bottles) of water.

I find what’s available in the resort shops the most convenient and the price isn’t horrible. There are other delivery options (Garden Grocer, etc) but I never have a large enough order for those to make sense. $3.99 for an 8-pack of 12 oz bottles (plus AP discount if applicable to you). This pic was at CR back in Sept... I assume these are the same everywhere but can’t vouch for the mods or values.

Are you coming with southwest and have an extra checked bag? My plan, which sounds ridiculous, is to pack a carryon sized suitcase with a case of water and check it through. I’ve already tried it and it’s under the weight limit. This way I can get around ordering water and having to pay a fee for delivery. Also I need the ful sized waters and the cases sold at the resorts are the small bottles.

I would just rent a car from car care center and go to the store of my choice. Water is important to me, and Dasani is seriously no different than the filtered water Disney provides. So if I’m getting bottled, I’m getting spring water and that means traveling. And while I’m a Publix or wherever I can pick up a few more things.

Or get a taxi or rideshare.

The value and mod resorts sell cases for $6.99 (the small kid size bottles) and $16.99 for the larger size. While you certainly can get it cheaper elsewhere this is the lowest hassle option.

Often the cases of water are not out in the open and you have to ask a CM for it. If you get someone who doesn't know what you want just ask for a manager.

We had a car but bought a pack in the resort shop. We also had a family going home a few doors down who asked if we'd like half a large pack they hadn't used - how nice was that!
