Hi, everyone. We had another great day! We slept in so that Rees could catch back up, and he felt much better. Lunch at H&V with the Playhouse Disney characters was really cute. The kids especially loved dancing with them up front. I'm glad we did it this trip, as I have a feeling they may not want to eat there in the not too distant future. DD, DS, and I rode Rockin' roller coaster. DD loved it, and DS wasn't too sure about it. He had tears after he got off, but then seemed to warm up to it as the afternoon went on. I was really impressed as this was his first trip to even ride ANY roller coaster. We went to the new Playhouse Disney show, and it was adorable. The kids loved it since they are still big fans (especially Rees) of MMCH and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. Rees didn't want to go to Little Mermaid today as we left the poncho (he is very sensitive to touch), so we'll go Wednesday. We saw the new Block Party parade, and the kids had so much fun! DD and DS went with DH to Star Wars, we saw most of the HSM new show, and we all went to Lights Motor Action which they all love, and that's where we saw Anne Marie and her family. She said the cruise was really great, and they got to double dip at the beach because there was some kind of problem with the ship. She missed Palo because of that. We had dinner at the Brown Derby, and it was yummy. I finally got to try the Grapefruit Cake! They gave us a Champagne toast complimentary for our anniversary. We were going to go to Fantasmic tonight, but we have an early ADR for Donald's b'fast at the AK, so we came back. Wednesday we'll go to Little Mermaid, Muppet Movie, Indiana Jones (was closed today for the cheerleader competition), Beauty and the Beast, and Fantsmic. We drove back to the CR (and, Marti, you are so right about the van being easier!). We watched Wishes from the balcony tonight and also went to watch the monorails from the 4th floor viewing area.
As far as crowds, there were a TON of cheerleaders in DHS today for the finals of the competition. Lines for standby did seem long to me (70 minutes for RNR, 60 for ToT), but the Fast Pass lines were very quick. The weather is HOT, HOT, HOT (almost 90 today). We are all pink and had to buy some Aloe Vera tonight.
I checked and Sundries had a 1/2 gallon of milk for $2.89, and chocolate milk for around the same. I'll check better later. And we booked the bouceback in Dec for the GF, but I don't think the dates will work so I'll try to change them later.
Tomorrow we go to AK, b'fast at Donald's, and then dinner at Narcoosee's. Have a good night everyone!
