We're home after fabulous trip! Dreamed 3 times in 5 days!!!!!!

What an amazing trip!! Dream Fp's on day 1 at the parks, late night after hours dream passes on day 2, and more dream fp's on day 5!!! What are the odds? And we weren't even looking for them!! One was on our way to Buzz from FL - past Triton Gardens - they were standing in front of the Triton statue! I almost walked right past them - we were in a hurry to ride Buzz!! Next day was walking off BTMRR - again, totally not expecting anything! Then last day at parks, I was waiting at Buzz for dh and ds to come out of Star tours, and they were standing on the walkway from Buzz to Tomorrowland Terrace.

We had the greatest time - Camelot Inn family suite was fabulous - just what we needed - crash pad for the kids and RnR room for mom and dad!

Grocery delivery went off without a hitch - only way to go!!

Weather was fine - some days a bit cool for shorts and tshirts, but we managed just fine!

None of us wanted to come home - first time ever for us!! We're usually eager to get back home - even when visiting family/friends, we look forward to going home. But last night as we walked down Main St and out of the parks, I found myself almost tearing up - it had been such an amazing experience, I never wanted it to end! Rest assured we will be going back!!

Will be posting TR soon - schedule insane for the next few days, and I still have to figure out how to post pics!

Thanks for all the fabulous advice, everyone!! Without this board, I can't imagine that our trip would have gone nearly so smoothly!

I can answer those:

1) The after hours reward is a prize part of the YoaMD promo in which guests selected are allowed to enjoy the park an extra hour after closing. I believe they corrall the dreamed guests to Big Thunder Ranch at DL or a Hollywood Pictures Backlot for DCA for a bit while they clear the park. After that I don't know. I've heard reports that they were allowed to roam free with select attractions open. OP can elaborate more.

2) The dream team is dressed in all white and blue and carry around black handbags. I searched all over google and couldn't find a pic!

I actually don't remember what Carm did for groceries, but did you see that other post about using a prepaid giftcard for groceries. Problem for non-US citizens is that there's no postal code spot, just zip code, for billing address for credit cards. So it's hard for non-US people to have them delivered. But the other Dis'er found that just using a prepaid card, and using the hotel for billing and delivery address, worked. (vons.com and albertsons.com are the ones usually mentioned; vons = safeway if you've heard of safeway)


I totally missed the mention of the after hours passes! Even luckier!

Re the grocery delivery. I'm not sure if it worked because we slipped through the cracks and no one double checked, or if it worked because no one cared that we used the wrong address....
I simply filled in the delivery address as the hotel, and used the zip code of the hotel as the billing zip code as well. I expected to get to the hotel to find that they had discovered that it was not my billing address for my visa, but the hotel address, but when we returned from dinner our first night, we found the hotel staff stocking our fridge with our groceries! It went off without a hitch!!

As for the after hours dream party, DLR29 is right - they herded us into the Big Thunder Ranch at 8pm (closing time for park) and we played some games and danced and had some fun till 8:30 while they cleared the park of people. At 8:30 they let us and ~2000 other lucky winners loose in the park for 1 hour. As far as I could see, ALL the attractions were open (except ones like Tarzan's Treehouse, Tiki Rm, Mark Twain, Pirates Island, etc...)
We did Jungle Cruise (better at night), POTC, PP, Matterhorn, Story Book Canal Boats (ds really wanted to do this the day before, but I wasn't willing to stand in line that long). We could have done even more if I had known ahead of time what the event was - I had NO PLAN!!! We were also towing 3 very tired kidlets! Everything except PP was a walk on - no lines AT ALL!! And even PP was only about 5 minutes....it was AMAZING!!

Sorry - I never even thought to get a pic of the dream team - they aren't very conspicuous, cause I never would have noticed them if they hadn't been handing me something as we walked by! They are dressed in dk/lt blue uniforms and carry black shoulder bags (to hold all the passes).
