We're back today from our 7 day Eastern and we're not happy about it all. We had a fabulous time. Perfect weather. I need to go start unpacking though.

Let me know if you have any questions..and I'll try to get some kind of a report done. :)

I ususally have that too but this time I took Bonine the day prior to leaving home and then daily the whole time we were on the cruise and the day after and this time I didn't have any of the rocking feeling going on after the cruise. I will try it this way next time and see if it works again!

Rocking stops in about 3 or 4 days. Mine may have been prolonged b/c I started with a terrible head cold the day I got off the ship.

Curious to hear what you weren't happy about.

Btw, I took Bonine before embarking and for the first 3 or 4 days. Wondered if I needed it so I stopped taking it and was fine. Until I got off the ship.

The rocking wasn't terrible, just enough to make me stop and go "whew, that was werid." :)

LOL! The rocking took almost a week for it to stop for me :)

I rocked for 2 days after my curise and I took bonine, but it was very mild and easy to shake off :hyper:

my rocking lasted about a week, but the swaying continued for about another week. Everyone in my office would just laugh at me when I started swaying... they all know I don't drink!!!

The intermittent rocking kept me thinking about the Magic. It was sort of sad when the sensation went away for good.

Well, not "for good." There is always this December. ;)

A lot of people feel the rocking for a couple of days.:boat: Many folks feel it for 4 or 5 days. THen there's me. I'm "stuck" with it for 10-14 days. There have been a couple of DIS'er that reported that they felt this for about a month.:earseek:

Usually the rocking lasts about a week for me but it lasted about 3 weeks the last time we cruised. HTH

If you live in California, you can become acclimated even before you leave for the cruise and then you never notice it when you return. LOL. We always rock out here. - Mike

Bonine is OTC, and it tends to be a bit cheaper than Dramamine.

I personally was rocking/swaying for a week or so after our cruise (4-day). No one else in my party seemed to complain of the same, though.

Does it seem to last longer for those who go on longer cruises?

Doubt anyone will read this since it's an old thread. I took a 7 day cruise and it lasted about 3 days. I called my mom when I arrived at Disneyland (my cruise was from LA) and asked her about it. She had recently taken a 34 day cruise and it lasted about 3 days too. So I don't think the length of your cruise really makes a difference.

We didn't experience any post-cruise rocking! :( I was sort of looking forward to it, but the swells were minimal all week.
