We arrived yesterday at lunch time but our official vacation begins today. We stayed off property at the Holiday Inn Express for the night. If anyone is looking for cheap offsite lodging ($60/night), I give it two thumbs up. It's less than half a mile outside the gates and the parking lot has a Pizza Hut, two other pizza places, seafood and Chinese, all walking distance. The hotel room seems huge and the pool is really nice. Honestly, I think we could have been happy here all week if it weren't for free dining!

We went to DTD yesterday and swam all afternoon. Tried to take it easy so we'd be ready to roll this week! Checking in at POFQ in a bout two hours!

TandLmommy, We stayed at that Holiday Inn Express also. Rooms were huge in comparison to a lot of on-site rooms. Just huge! Nice pool,,,,we went to POP following that stay. Talk about disparity!

We always get there a day early too...but we stay in Gainesville and chill for the night. Hit the resort and the parks the next day! Have a fantastic time!
