We left from Oregon on Sunday and arrived at the PPH on Monday. Our 5 year old DD had a bit of a cold last week but was feeling much better. Then Sunday night, we stayed in Santa Nella and I woke up to her having a 102.5 fever. She was playful and in a good mood Monday but running a fever all day. Then Monday night she had a fever of 103.5. Ugh, I was freaking out! We ended up having a local doctor service come out that services local hotels. She had an ear infection and the doc gave her antibiotics right on the spot. Totally worth the $350 charge to not have to go find an urgent care, and our insurance said they'd cover at 80%. No fever last night and I'm so happy that she'll get to enjoy the rest of the trip. I love the Paradise Pier, by the way. We stayed at the DLH twice last year, but I think we'll be staying here from now on. We were planniing on leaving Friday morning, but I'm thinking about adding a day to our parkhoppers and leaving later in the day so we have a bit more park time.
