We're headed back for Christmas! Any Special Dinner ideas?

We just booked our flight and are coming back for Christmas (shooting for Nov. 15th weekend). The first time my wife and I went and had a blast. We really felt bad that the kids didn't come with us. So as a surprise we are bringing the whole family plus a good friend of my wife's who has never been to DL.

I personally want to go back and do the Walk in Walt's Footsteps in hopes of seeing Walt's apartment. This will probably be the last time we visit for a long time. I also hope to treat my wife somewhere special because it will be our anniversary. A nice dinner I think could be a good surprise. We are both such huge Disneyland and Walt fans. Would there be anything else special I could do this time around?

I hope you and your wife will be able to celebrate your anniversary at someplace really nice.

We are having Christmas Eve dinner at Napa Rose. I'm hoping the restaurant in the PPH will have a character dinner on Christmas night again. They did in 2011, but I'm not sure about last year.

No we have never done the Chef's table nor have we ate at Napa Rose.
We will be married 23 years this November.
My three kids are now 18,15, and 15.
That is crazy that your taking someone with you as well.
I hope they both enjoy their trips. At least they have great tour guides!

Yeah...I really want to surprise her this time around with something very special. I will have to see what I can come up with.

The only "fancy" meal we've had at DL is Steakhouse 55. We loved it! I will have to look into Napa Rose and PPH. Thanks for the ideas!

I'm thinking maybe a tour might be something cool to do as well. Should I do the Walk in Walt's Footsteps or the Holiday tour? We've done the WIWF before but my wife would like to see Walt's Apt for sure. Has anyone done the Holiday tour or the new Footsteps tour?

I like to do Thanksgiving lunch at the Plaza Inn outside, so SoCal!
