We're headed back! And this time...I'm NOT pregnant!-We leave TOMORROW!!

Love the shirt, kinda a cool retro vibe! Disney clothes cheer me up even when they're not mine!

Your Day 1 plans sound great! Ooooh Space Mt dash, all part of the fun. Hope u make the opening ceremony, I was so surprised at how much my DBF loved it, he couldn't believe how much effort went into just welcoming guests to the park!

Also 2 great ADR's, I really want to try Kona and O'Hana at the Poly, and good luck on the room selection, there ain't any way to make dunmpster view sound appealing, but I guess at least its a Disney dumpster view!

I read your PTR, 2009 TR and am all caught up on this PTR! You went from not being pregnant at all to having a 1 year old Emma all in a couple of days! ;)

Loved following along on your trip, and excited for you to go back and get to ride all the rides!

:welcome: and thanks for reading! It's amazing how fast time flies!! ;)

You have no idea how excited I am for the big kid rides!! :hyper: The last time I rode Space Mountain was in 1995!!! :scared1: Animal Kingdom didn't even exist! To say I was a little jealous of J being able to ride all the fun stuff is probably an understatement.

And another big kid thing I'm really excited about.... :drinking1 I hope this doesn't make me sound like a total lush, but Disney has so many wonderful adult beverages that I'm anxious to try (Grey Goose Slushie, anyone?!)! Awww, can't wait!!

Thanks!! I was really surprised they were available at Walmart (and for cheap, too!)! I went today in hopes of finding J a shirt, but they didn't have anything in his size. :guilty: Oh well, better luck next time.

Rope Drop at MK is definitely a must for us! It should be a guarantee since we'll have two mornings there...hopefully! Like I said before, J isn't quite as chipper in the mornings as me. :bounce:

I know there isn't much I can do about my view now, I've just seen so many pics of "not-so-nice" views from the WL that it worries me. But, the bottom line is that we'll be at Disney!! :woohoo:

Thanks again for reading everyone! It's been a hectic couple of weeks with me having a stomach bug and trying to prep for my class. The nice news is that we only 5 weeks left of the semester!! Just hope I get some sort of summer job to bring in some income! And the best news so far, tomorrow my ticker will officially read 3+ months!! :cheer2::dance3::cheer2:

Hey everyone!! Another busy few days/weeks around here (what else is new?)! This time of year is always tough since J is the head baseball coach at his school (along with being a full time teacher). His days are usually pretty busy and he's gone from 7am til 6pm, and that's when there isn't a game! Neeldess to say, I can't wait for baseball to be over with! Plus the end of my semester is coming and I've had tons of grading to do! Unfortunately I didn't get a summer job (too many classes cut due to budge cuts :headache:). So hopefully we'll get a decent tax refund for Disney! On that note, I was inspired by someone from the boards (can't remeber who because before I could sub to their PTR my computer crashed :badpc:) So I've since been inspired to start a Disney Saving Fund and stash it in our kitchen. So every time we have extra change or single $, we'll throw it in there!

Anyway, on to Day 3 of our planning!
After our (late) evening at Magic Kingdom, my plan is to get up early and hopefully have breakfast at Roaring Forks. The menus show some yummy selections for the mornings! Then we'll head to Animal Kingdom! Let's hope for another Rope Drop making!! We managed to get there last time, but the crowds were RIDICULOUS!!
IMG_1736.jpg

I'm going to expect crowds again this time (I mean, come on, it's August) but we'll hopefully be a little closer to the gate. And as soon as they open, I'll be headed towards this:

I was soooooooo bummed I missed this last time (honestly this was my break-down point on our last trip when I realized I was missing out on so much)! But I am pumped to ride it this time! :dance3: And if all goes well we'll shoot for Fast Passes for this! :thumbsup2

I'm also anxious to try out Dinosaur! We both missed this last time (me for obvious reasons) so this will be a first for us!

We saw "It's Tough to Be a Bug" last time and really enjoyed it. In fact, J almost lost it when I screamed at one point! We had a great time although I can see how some people, especially little kiddos could get freaked out by it. So if we can squeeze this show in we'd be willing to do it again. I really want to see Finding Nemo and/or the Lion King. I'm not sure what the reviews are on these, has anyone seen them lately? They look to be pretty cute, but I'm not sure if one is better incase we can't see both. :confused3

I'd also be happy to walk through Maharajah Jungle Trek and Pangani Forest Trail again. Last time we waited until after lunch and it was disgustingly hot! I'm sure that'll be the case again, but at least we'll be able to cool down with one of these again!

Oh my gosh that Chai was so yummy!!!! I love Chai anyway, and this one was da'bomb!! I think I'll be safe and get my own this trip as opposed to sharing. :rolleyes1

Speaking of beverages, we'll eventually need to eat lunch somwhere! I'm leaning towards Restaurantosauras or Flame Tree BBQ. I've heard good things about both, but again, I'm not sure which. We'll probably base it on what our tummies want and where we are in the park.

Once we finish up our day at AK then we'll head back to our room to rest, swim, shower and get ready for dinner at J's favorite place!

IMG_1627.jpg

Did you get it? No? Ok, how 'bout this picture?

IMG_1630.jpg

Yep, Garden Grill!

IMG_1644.jpg

I hope it's as good as it was last time! We both really enjoyed it! The food was really yummy, from the entrees and sides
IMG_1645.jpg

To the dessert!

And the character interaction was wonderful!

After our dinner I'm planning to walk around World Showcase, my absolute favorite part of Disney World! I think we'll just take it easy and soak in the sights until we're ready to head back (and maybe a few :drinking1). Yes, I'm allowed this trip to partake and I totally plan on it (does that make me sound like a lush, cause I'm not, just really excited about having a few tasty bevearges this trip!)

So that's our plans for Day 3! I hope everyone is having a great spring so far! And to all my folks up north, don't worry, warm weather will find you! And I'll be so jealous when you guys have 90ish temps in the summer while we're dying with 100++! :scared: :lmao:
And of course I have to share a pic of Emma in the bluebonnets! This one is my favorite!! :lovestruc

Have a fabulous day!!

subbing in, we will be there the same week, we need to have breakfast together on thursday at Main St Bakery!

Keeping my fingers crossed that some of that heat makes its way to PA soon! We had a couple nice days in the 70's but it is back in the 40's with rain. I am just really ready for spring/summer to get here. Love you day 3 plans! World showcase and the beverages there are also my favorite! I highly recommend stopping in the tequila bar in the mexico pavillion. Lots of fun margaritas in there. And you have to get a Grey Goose slushie from France!

It sounds like a good Day 3 Plan. I hope that the crowds aren't too bad this time and that you don't melt in the heat. Garden grill looks really good, We haven't booked for it this time around but maybe next time if we ever decide to go again :rolleyes1

I am very glad that you can participate in all that EPCOT has to offer this time :lmao: I am sure that you will find lots and lots of tasty beverages to make up for last trip.

I like how the little girl, with the tiara on, at the Garden Grill, has a scowl on her face. You're at DisneyWorld little girl! SMILE!!!!

Hi there and :welcome:
That would be wonderful!! I know J would LOVE a cinnamon roll from there!

J is so funny because he LOVES the cold weather (granted I have to remind him the Texas version of cold weather is a couple of months, if we lived up north I'm sure he'd have a different oppinion ).
Part of me is kind of bummed we won't be staying near Epcot again, so that's why I made sure to allow ourselves some "free" evenings so we can head over there!
Yummm!! Tequilla Bar!! And I'm already drooling over the Grey Goose Slushie!! Of course I have to budget those things in at $10 a pop! :scared1: But totally worth it I'm sure! :thumbsup2

Crowds might be a little bad like last time since a lot of folks in the south still have summer (like us, hehe!). But I also know the crowds pick back up in late Aug cause of Free Dining. So I guess that's a good for us!
I am counting the days down!!! Can't wait!! :rotfl2:

Right!!!! :lmao: I didn't even notice before! I wonder what she looked like when the characters approached her!!

Animal Kingdom Day sounds good, I wuld have been upset at missing Everest too, ride it twice this trip to make up for it! :cool1:

Garden Grill seems to get lots of good reviews and its only a restaurant I've started to hear about recently, the walking and leisurely drinking around the world sounds immense!

Love the photo of Emma!:cutie:

Love the sounds of your day 3 plans! I'm sure you'll find plenty of ways to keep cool!
As for the AK shows, I have not seen the Nemo show, but FotLK is awesome! Definitely try to catch that one.

Emma is a doll!

I can't see your pictures cause the work computer blocks them out. :sad2: I'll have to look later at home.

Great Day 3 plans! That's what Disneyland is missing - World Showcase. That's all I was thinking about when I was there. 'They need a World Showcase here.' One of my favorite parts of Disney World too :)

I haven't seen the Nemo or FOTLK show in a couple years but I loved both. I didn't think I was going to like the Nemo show at first since 1)it's a musical and there really wasn't any songs in the movie and 2)I thought I would be distracted by the puppeteers. You really don't notice them after awhile though!

I will definitely plan to ride EE twice!! J did last time, so it's only fair!

Can't wait for the stroll around WS! Especially now that I'll have a cool beverage in hand... :cloud9:

And thank you! She's my sweetie! :lovestruc

Thanks! And I think we might lean towards FotLK, but Nemo does look pretty cute. And with Disney magic I'm sure it'll be awesome! A part of me is anxious about Mufasa, do they go into him dying in the show (confession here, I haven't watched Lion King in years because they part made me soooo sad ). Although I know it ends well, as I'm sure the show does, too. Just don't wanna be all depressed after watching it...

And thank you!! I love my little angel (if you can't tell!)!

I hope you got to see the pics!

I wonder if they ever would incorporate something like WS at Disneyland... I can't wait to read your TR for it! We might make it out there one day since it's probably a bit cheaper than DW. It'll help me get my fix until we get to go back!

That's why I'm a little worried about Nemo. I don't want either of us to think it's cheesy, but I'm sure both are fantastic!

Thanks for reading along everyone! I promise to post soon! Just gotta get some stuff graded for my class (and do a little lesson planning :rolleyes1). Good news is that I only have a few weeks until summer!! :woohoo: Hope everyone has a great day and wonderful week!!

I'm in!

Instead of studying, I procrastinated by reading your August '09 TR, lol. My DH & I got married exactly one week before you!

Yay! :welcome: and thanks for joining!

How fun you guys got to honeymoon at Disney! We didn't get to but I figure we'll make up for it by going as much as financially possible!

I hope school is going well! Just think, it'll be over soon then you guys will be going to Disney!! :woohoo:

Thanks for reading!

So Emma and I were hanging out yesterday while J was working (which he normally does for parts of the weekend. Sometimes his work load is similar to that of a university professor.). Emma has felt a little yucky the last few days, maybe from her shots? So she's needed lots of cuddling. Anyway, I carried her around the house with me and thought I'd quickly check my email and dis boards while holding her.

Next thing I know a glass of water gets knocked over on to my Mac!!!!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I screamed for J to come downstairs! I don't know what to do! I call the support line and they tell me to take it to a repair place. So Emma and I get in the car and head to the place I bought it. The service guy tells me it costs $75 to diagnose it to see if it's repairable! I then ask him what are the chances of it getting fixed. Not so good.

I am so depressed! All my Disney plans were on there (not to mention pictures, files for school, etc). I know it's just a computer and it can be replaced, it just stinks. As J said, it feels like we can never get ahead financially. Oh well, I know everything will be alright, just kind of a downer.

I hope everyone has a much better Monday! And I'll post once I can hopefully find my plans again!!!

YIKES!!! So sorry to hear that. Hope you can get it fixed or replaced soon. I try to save my plans on a few computers just to be safe.

Aww Amanda I am so sorry about your computer! Do you think at least the hard drive is okay to get your stuff transferred on another computer?

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, the entire hard drive was damaged and everything was lost. :sad1:

I'm so sad about this. Again, I know it's just "stuff" and I have some of the pictures saved in various places (Facebook, snappish, etc), it just stinks. The good thing (I guess if you could say so) the computer was fairly new and didn't have too many documents/images on it. Could've had years of things on it and that would've really stunk!

Anyway, Emma is still feeling yucky so I may have to take her to the doc tomorrow. :guilty: Just hope she feels better soon!

I hope everyone is having a good Monday! I promise to post soon with some Disney stuff!!

Sorry to hear about your comp. That really stinks :( Mine had a virus on it not too long ago and crashed but my cousin was able to fix it. I never ever delete pictures off my memory card though and this is exactly why!

:eek:Sorry to hear about your computer.

I hope Emma feels better soon. That shot of her in the flowers is beautiful. :goodvibes

Glad to hear you like Garden Grill. I saw an opening on the May cancellation thread the other day and booked it. I am a bit nervous about the food, but it looks pretty good.
