We're Going to DisneyLand!

Just got off the phone with MS and was able to book our trip for next year!

I was able to get a 2BR for 6 nights, over Memorial Day Weekend, with no problem. I wasn't able to call right when they opened, thanks to kiddie carpool, so I was a bit worried -- seems like there was plenty of availability.

We are so excited! Now to begin the planning ...

This is so cool -- we have NEVER had 2 trips planned at once before, I think I like it!

Have you ever been to Disneyland? It's quite a change from Disney World! The parks are so close together, which is kind of nice.

DL doesn't require nearly the planning that WDW does. I suggest you read HydroGuy's tip: "A DLR Guide for WDW Vets" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599 to get started.

I have only been to DL a few times, many years ago -- WAAAAAY before hubby and kids joined the picture.

We love WDW but are really looking forward to heading to DL and staying at the GCV -- I've read a few amazing trip reports that helped us decide to head West for next years trip.

We were there this summer for 7 nights in a 2 bedroom. We had a wonderful time!!! Don't tell anyone, but I would rather go to DL than WDW!
