We're Going to Disney World!!---TR started 4/29!

Your itinerary looks great! We didn't do Park Hoppers on this past trip and really, doing one park a day was fine -- so we probably won't do Park Hoppers again -- that extra money can just go towards souvenirs or mixed drinks or whatever we feel like.

Quick question: why aren't you making ADRs? You know you can make them and then cancel them if you don't want to do them at the last minute.

My degree is in both language arts and social studies, and I have taught social studies for many years -- I love it and actually miss teaching it. I get all jazzed up talking about history. So, I think it is just awesome that is what you are going to do. :goodvibes

Thankss!! :thanks: Yeah I think on a week long trip, for us anyway, the PH isn't needed. Ya know the more I think about it, you're definitely right abuot the ADR's. Why not just make them and then cancel them if we decide otherwise...and when some unsuspecting guest walks up to a TS restaurant and can get in without a reservation due to the one that we cancelled, we'll make their day! lol So thank you for making me realize that. I'm really excited about the teaching thing I'm in the process of finding out what I need to do in my situation but I'll check back when I know whats definite! :goodvibes

Your plans look great! Sounds busy but SO MUCH FUN!!

I agree with CP...you should make an ADR for Raglan Road and then just cancel if you decide not to go. That's what I usually do. I never feel like sitting down to eat, so I cancel all my ADRs! But I like to have the option.

I am no help on the IoA question...never been there.

I have to make myself stay away from Disney Shopping...there's too much stuff on there that I want!

Thankss!!:thanks: We'll def be busy but I can't wait. I agree with CP too, we're gonna make all the ADR's and then cancel what we don't want. YOu were both definitely right about that. Disney shopping is just addicting! Almost as bad as ebay lol

Our shirts and the PJ pants that I ordered came in the mail on Friday :) They came so quick I was surprised, yay for disneyshopping.com lol :yay: So here's the ones that I got:

Green Tinkerbell shirt for me:

These PJ pants only cost me $7.19!! But I got a Large and they look ginormous:confused3

And I already gave BF his shirt and its at his house so heres the pic of it off of the website:

He wanted a Jack Skellington shirt but I forced myself to stick with the ones that were on sale for $5 and the Jack shirt only came in a size Small...BF is definitely not a size Small...not since he was 10 anyway.

And I just realized I'm a big idiot. I remember how I had heard that Fantasmic is only being showed on Mondays and Thursdays. So I went to the calendar on disneyworld.com and sure enough it's only showing Monday and Thursday. Go and ruin my plans, thanks Disney.

Anyway this means I have to switch our THursday BB day and our Wednesday DHS day so we can do the Fantasmic package on Thursday. Not such a big deal I just like to be dramatic.:cutie:

So thats it for my mini update thanks for reading:goodvibes

I have looked and looked at the same t-shirt and pajama pants -- too cute! Now, I might have to wander back over to disneyshopping...:rolleyes1

Oh!!! I love your tink shirt!! :) How cute!!! I love your pants, too... comfy!! I always buy large's because I don't ever know how the sizes run with different companies... and I'd rather them be huge than too small! :) I'm almost always a med and sometimes small but idk, pj pants gotta be big! LoL So don't worry! they don't look that big! Sorry to hear that the show only runs mon - thurs... that stinks!! I wouldn't have known that. I personally don't like the show at all (eep!) but if you haven't seen it, you gotta try it out! :rotfl: Thanks for posting the pics!! <33

Alright, so late to the game here - but I'll still read along. My two cents - Mama Melrose Fantasmic was worth it, IMO. Think italian like Bucca di Beppo, not so much Olive Garden. And, although the seats with the Fantasmic package aren't "the best" in the theater, they are still good, and I am more than happy to pay a few extra bucks to not have to stand in line for two hours. Plus, if you need a sway vote for your bf - they have a beer stand in there. So while everyone else is in line, you two will be seated promptly, beers in hand. It made me very happy. If I remember correctly, they even have "beerguys" like at games...I think. Plus, with a 3YO on the last trip, I don't do lines!

:welcome: hey thanks for joining in, you're not very late at all since there's still over 6 months to go til my trip! lol We decided on definitely doing the Fantasmic package, even though we don't have any kids BF is kind of like a small child sometimes so this should be good for us:rotfl2: The show is only Mon and Thurs in 2009 too so I'm anticipating its going to be more crowded then previous years so the package should help us alot. Thanks for the beer info, it will definitely make him happy...I'm realizing now that he probably sounds like an alcoholic on here by the way I'm always saying how he loves beer:drinking1 he's not though lol Well I hope you like what you've read so far and come back for more :goodvibes

They're on sale so hop on over there before they're gone! They have cheap kids stuff too.

Thank youuu!:thanks: I usually am medium in pants too (well sometimes large because I have a rather large bum :lmao:) but these are just super large...not that I care because I always wear PJ pants big and they have a drawstring on them too. I have seen the show before but I really liked it and can't wait to see it again! :goodvibes

Love the shirts and pants!

The pj bottoms look so comfy! It's so hard to tell when ordering online when it comes to pants like that.

Don't feel lonely. I think the WDW one is awful but the DL version is pretty awesome.

Good idea on booking the ADRs and then cancelling as needed. You know how much I have agonized over our ADRs and I can already tell you that we will be cancelling/switching at least a couple. It's fine as long as you cancel them once you figure out you don't need them. And yes, you do make people happy. We had a couple overjoyed at Spoodles on our last trip when we cancelled our ADR and they were able to snap it right up!

Cute PJs!

Yeah I definitely think this is a good idea. idk why I wouldn't have thought to do it in the first place. I'm such a ditz sometimes...ok a lot of the time. And thanks, I'm still yet to wear the PJs I feel like they cant be worn on any old night, it has to be like special or something.:lmao:

I GET TO MAKE MY ADR'S SUNDAY!!  :cheer2: :dance3: :yay:

Or at least attempt to. I've read that the dining system upgrade isn't going to be done now until November but I also read that if you call to make an ADR at a restaurant that is done, you can do it. So I'm going to go in hoping for the best and see what I come out with. Also, I know I said that I didn't want to have any breakfast ressies BUT I've read so many things and seen so many pictures of Tonga Toast that I'm having second thoughts. I haven't mentioned it to BF yet so maybe I'll run it by him later on and show him some pictures and see how he feels. We can squeeze it in one morning right? :confused3 I kinda hope so:goodvibes

Well wish me luck, I hope I get everything we want!!! :goodvibes

Tonga Toast is definitely worth making the effort -- also, you can get it at Captain Cook's (the quick service place at the Polynesian). :thumbsup2

The Tonga Toast was pretty awesome. We really enjoyed our breakfast there.

:woohoo: on your ADRs! I sent you a PM with the info about the Coral Reef diver/menu. I hope it works out for y'all.

I showed BF a picture of TT and explained to him what it was and he said we can definitely make a breakfast ressie for that...yayyy! But if we decide we don't feel like sitting down for it, Captain Cook's is a great alternative so thank you!!

Good luck with the ADRs! I hope you don't have to wait till Nov 1 to make them!

Thanksss I'll find out tomorrow morning! :yay:

Yes we are definitely all about trying some TT! :cool1: Thanks!

Major disappointment:guilty:

My I was 2 days early for my ADR's. Instead of counting exactly 180 days I just called on the 6 month mark...2 days early. And the CM I spoke with said that they are only taking the ressies for CRT, Chef Mickeys and Victoria and Albert's which I knew but like I wrote in the last post I heard that if the restaurant was done with the upgrade they would book it...she told me no. I think I'll call on Tuesday and give it a shot anyway maybe a different CM knows differently. :confused3 Does anybody know anything about that, if they'll do some restaurants earlier then the Nov 21st date? Please let me know if you do. The next update will be pictures from past trips so prepare yourselves, you'll need it lol

Sorry you were disappointed -- I am going to cross my fingers for Tuesday for you!

Can't wait to see pics from past trips -- those are the best!
