hi there! I have never done one of these, and I'm actually wondering if I should do this...I'm not a great writer, and well, I'm not sure I could write anything that exciting...but I feel like I have to do this...I've been reading so many peoples reports for the past year, that I feel this need to do one of my own...
so...
The cast: Me, Laura(32), a pure Disney freak. I love everything to do with Disney! The first time I was at WDW was when I was 9 and I remember it liek it was yesterday. I have been back a few times since then, but the first time as an adult, with my husband and kids was last february.
DH, Al (40), he origionally didn't want to go back last feb. He was only going to shut me up and make me happy. He loved it there! He's not as excited about this trip as me or the kids, but he's looking forward to it for sure!
DS(7) Little Al, he was born a Disney fan, and still loves all things Disney. He will be celebrating his 8th birthday in WDW
DD(5) Lizzie, a pure princess. She loves them all, but the older she gets, the more she is turning into a high School Musical freak, which is OK with me, cuz it's still Disney.
DD(4) Maya, she's also a little princess, with a bit if Stitch's naughtiness to boot! She is a little firecracker and keeps us on our toes.
My parents are also going, Grandma and Grandpa, they went with us last time and I can't imagine doing Disney without them. The introduced to me to WDW and I am so glad they are able to join us!
I should also mention that I am pregnant, I will be 31 weeks along when we go. The trip was planned and airfare was already paid for before we had this little surprise bundle of love happen. I keep talking with my OBs to make sure I will be fine for the trip. So far so good...no complications thus far. I'm praying that all goes well and I don't have to cancel the whole thing.
We are leaving Tuesday December 11th and returning Tuesday December 18th. I have always wanted to see the World at Christmas time and I can't believe it's finally happening! The kids are so excited to see all the decorations as am I!
Here's a few pictures of us from our trip last Feb:
We are staying at the WL, my first time staying there, but my parents have been there before. I truly can't wait to see the WL all decorated for Christmas. Our flight leaves early in the AM, and arrives around noon, we're doig the Magical Express, So, I'm hoping we will all be checked in around 3pm or so...We have woods view, and have requested connecting rooms for the 7 of us.
The plan is to hop the boat over to the MK just to get that first look at the castle and maybe one or two things before getting back to the WL for our ADRs at WCC at 5:50pm. Then after that, I think we will ride the monorail around to EPCOT just to see it all lit up at night. Then go back to the room for an early night sleep and wake up for the first full day!
