We're going again....!!

Well, we've made a decision about our next trip, and decided to go in April 2005. I know it seems like years away!!!!

We really wanted to go back next year, but we really need to move house, and can't out it off any longer.

So, we're going after Easter - I have it on good authority that school holidays over the Easter period are changing in our area, and from 2005 they will be a fixed 2 weeks - and may or may not fall over Easter. So in 2005 they begin 1 week after Easter.

Already provisionally booked the same villa we were in this year, and thinking of going Virgin from Manchester.

So I need to know everything about this time of year - I'm assuming it will be quiet-ish, and cooler?

I've been in late March, early April twice although both times was before Easter whereas it sounds like you'll be going afterwards so I'm not sure my experiences will be much help. We did find it to be very busy because of spring break (which again will probalby be finished by the time you go) and it was cooler then when we went in May but not hugely, some evenings a light jacket / fleece was needed but we did the pool / waterparks with no problems on both occasions.

We can count down together - roll on 2005!!!!

We are going next year for the 2 weeks after easter. Have been the 2 weeks before easter twice but this year the weather was quite cool so hopefully it may be a little warmer going 1 month later.

I think the parks should be fairly quiet(here's hoping)

We are going 3 weeks from end September 2003 (Orange Lake CC), 3 weeks in July 2004 (Bryan's Spanish Cove) and 3 weeks in July 2005 (Sheraton's Vistana Resort) - DW has gone into WDW overload as, although we've been to WDW 9 times before, we haven't been since December 1996.

We've been most often in late April/May and I would imagine that, as you'll be missing the Easter and College Spring Break crowds, conditions will be similar when you go. Relatively light crowds, low prices for travel and accommodation, and none of the searing temperatures and high humidity of the summer Rainfall is also lighter....you will all love it

I wonder what will happen with the school holidays in my borough in 2005?Perhaps I could 'phone the LEA and find out?

The weather is absolutely gorgeous at this time of year. Mid 80's with no rain (on the 3 occasions we've been). According to records Easter is the second busiest time of year with crowds second only to Christmas. We usually stay the weeks either side of Easter and they are VERY crowded. Twice the size of the summer crowds. I have however noticed that the crowds practically disappear the weekend after Easter so you should be fine.
