We're Goin' in June!

Our flights are booked so it's for real. We are making our first trip to CA this summer to visit Yosemite and of course DL. We are sooo excited. Well... maybe it's just me that's excited since I've done all the planning. The family just shows up with suitcases and off we go. We're staying at HoJo since my kids love pools. Thanks to the DIS for all the great tips for our first time to CA.

I am going in June as well. Eeeeeeee only a few months away. I hope I can join in your excitement cause I am buzzing! When abouts in June are you going? I am going from June 1-10th possibly to the 13th but not sure yet, and staying at the Tropicana.

We arrive in LA on the 7th. From there it's Yosemite until the 11th. We're staying at the HoJo.

How exciting!! We'll be there in June too! We are leaving the 13th and have 6 day hoppers!

I know how you feel. We're heading to DL for the first time ever at the end of May. We booked at the Ho Jo as well. We'll be in Vegas for a few days and decided to add 3 extra nights onto our trip so we could fly over to DL. We were able to book a flight from Vegas to Santa Ana for 69 a person! I'm so excited! I wish we had more time to enjoy CA. There are so many places I would love to visit. So I'm viewing this trip as a "scouting trip". We'll scout out DL and no doubt probably love it. Then we will hopefully return with the rest of the family so they can see DL and then spend the rest of the time touring CA.

where are you staying in yosemite?

We are staying at tenaya lodge first week of june.

We are going to Yosemite for 4 days and then on to DL for 3 days in June also. We are staying at the Fairfield Inn in DL, stayed there last time and liked it for the price.
We go to DL last, I hope I can get my DH out of Yosemite, we have never been there and he is SOOO excited about going.

we are also going in june (5-12) @hojo's. i'm starting to make my list and i need some help with clothes. i was thinking of capri and t-shirts, and maybe jeans for nighttime. i've never been to california during this time.

We'll be at DL for the first time the first week in June. Also at Hojo's! We're continuing onto San Diego.

I am scratching my head about itinerary planning, since I've never done any Disney park during peak season as an adult, and packing (I've read hydroguy's info but the temp possibility spread is very large. lol)

I am thinking the capri route too, here in Vegas it will be so hot in June , but always cooler at DL. may need a sweater in the evening, a good excuse to pick up a new Disney one if I "forget " to pack one!
Wow We are going to fill up the Hojo with disers ! i guess the company will be good by the pool!

we are going to Yosemite as well the end of July and staying for 2 days on our way down to Disneyland...we are staying in the tented area {kids wanted an actual camp feeling}...and then 5 days at Disneyland...

yea, i'm so used to the weather in florida during june and it is hot. so, i will be sure and pack some long sleeve things. does everyone decorate their doors with the lime green mickeys? i will have mine.

At home depot in the paint dept they have disney paint , lime green colored ones shaped like Mickey Mouse are DIS members symbols, Of couse under achiever that I am I never go get them before our trips, but I need to go there soon and will pick some up!
