We're finally home. Wish it wasn't over

OH, I miss my Magic already! What a trip. With 4 kids, including one under a year, plus grandma, and a drive from Maryland to Florida in a too small minivan- it was something, to say the least. I will attempt to do a detailed trip report ASAP. I will include info on the REAS, traveling with a toddler and infant, info on the concierge services, as well as info for any "spa or massage virgins" out there. We did our first couples massage (first ever for either of us and it was....... interesting) as well as the Surial Bath (the highlight of my trip). Our trip began with our long, through the night drive and then two nights at the Grand Floridian, then the Western Magic cruise in a 1 BR and a family suite. We finished our trip by breaking up our drive home with a stop for the night at Disney's Hilton Head Resort (our first time there, its lovely). So if you have any questions in particular, post them here. I will post my first report later today. I need to review my notes first. The week just goes way too fast. I really need to rebook.

Hi Melissa,

Glad you got home ok. It was sure nice meeting you and everyone else from the DIS group. I would say we all had a real good time.

Sorry we missed you at our final Dis meet on Friday evening in Diversions. We all had a blast, what a show the cruise staff put on.

We rebooked for Nov 05, Western thanksgiving cruise. So far two other Dis'r are also going, Dennis and I believe Diana.

Will be looking forward to reading your trip reports.

I saw the 2 days at CC and I am seriously considering it. Sorry I missed Diversions, we had so much to pack and we had already worn Grandma out with our final 3 hour meal at Palos! We miss you all and it was so nice to meet and chat with you in person. Say hi to your lovely wife and daughter, as well as your grandson. And congrats to them both on their Bingo winnings.

Can't wait to hear all about it! Especially the traveling with an infant part, my DD will be 11 months when we cruise in August. I will wait for your trip report before bombarding you with my silly questions .

I'm looking forward to your report on the REAS package. Although my DW has visited a spa before, I guess I am a spa "virgen" - I am looking forward to it though. Sorry your cruise is over but it sounds like you had an incredible time and hopefully the memories will stay fresh forever. - Mike
