We're Dreaming of a WL Christmas! DEC 2010 INTERACTIVE PTR NEW: 12/9 BYE-BYE!

Sounds like a great Disney on Ice experience. We still haven't been. Unfortunately the show doesn't come anywhere near us.:sad2:

What great seats you had! And how great that the performance fell on your DD's birthday!:goodvibes

Can't wait to hear about the Imagination Movers!:)

Thank you so much!! You know, I have never thought about the fact that they might not travel by you...I think they are in Mexico right now:confused3

I am excited about this weekend. Imagination Movers are my son's favorite. They are from our area of the state and still film here, so it is nice when they extend things to their home town like free tickets

Looks like a fantastic trip! You've really got me excited for our trip too! I might try to switch our Boardwalk ressies to WL!

I know what it's like traveling with a big group. We've made two trips now with my DH's family. It's tough being the planner and not stepping on anyone's toes! We did pretty well both times.

I like you're countdown to ADRs! I was just feeling a little pressure today to get my park days figured out because we only have 1 week and 3 days to start making ADRs! :scared1:

I need this advice too please!!

Sorry I have missed your updates! I need to pop DIS down when I am not reading it because I am missing so many updates by leaving it up. My graduation date is next May, so 2011. What about yours?

What a great GAD experience! I am so glad you were able to do it before the program ended. :goodvibes:

ADRs: I am glad you settled on Le Cellier, we enjoyed it. I want to try Starring Rolls, not sure if we will eat lunch there or just a snack. I have also been reading good things about Catalina Eddie's and Writer's Shop

DOI: I keep watching for dates in our vicinity. I actually just checked again (thanks for posting and reminding me about it) and they are coming but not until after our trip. I will have to think about it. It looks like such a good time.

You know how I like questions ;) so here goes:

1. GAD, I did not end up doing it. I looked several times but I did not find one that was a time we could do it. I would have picked between the GAD FPs or donating the ticket price. Even though the program is over, I am still going to start making them blankets. I would love to volunteer for Make-a-Wish but I have to contact them about time commitments.

2. Our favorite meal from our last trip is a tie between: Rose and Crown and Coral Reef. Both get mixed reviews here on DIS but we LOVED them!!

3. Nope, we have never been to either DOI or Disney Live but I hope to do so some day. :goodvibes:

Hi Katie!

Your ADRs look great! Le Cellier is delicious, make sure to get the chocolate "moose". We are eating at Whispering Canyon for the first time in October and I can not wait. We figured it would be a good time to try it since we are staying in the villas at Wilderness lodge. I have never ate at Starring rolls but have seen pictures and it looks very good! MVMCP is a perfect night to go to Liberty Tree Tavern. The meal is good and it puts you in the Christmas Spirit!

I loved your pictures from DOI. Your seats were great! I went all the time when I was little. I saw Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story, and then my DH and I went a couple years ago to see Monsters Inc. Not Disney related but we did see Wizard of Oz and Grease on Ice too. They were all so cute! Those will be memories that your kids will have for the rest of their lifes.

Thank you!! We had a great time---I am glad that I read the DIS or we would have missed out!

Ohhh I have never heard of either of those! I am going to check them out...the Disney blog just did a GREAT review of Starring Rolls that I will post later. We are more of a light lunch type of family,so I like the fresh sandwiches there.Of course, I will probably skip it and go straight to the cupcake!!

It is a great time!! I know what you mean....I got a pre-book code for Disney Live, but it is the day after christmas (yikes!) and we will just be getting back. Don't think my DH will go for that one!! haha
You know how I like questions ;) so here goes:

HAHA yes you do!!! I love them too ;)

Awww that would be GREAT of you! We still want to volunteer as well.

I keep looking at them both for possibilities for our next trip! I am happy that you loved them so much...more positive reviews the better!

You would LOVE it! Keeping my fingers crossed one comes your way~!

Thank you!! Ohhh chocolate moose...sounds amazing  I am so thrilled...hope we can get Le Cellier!! You will LOVE LOVE WC!! Even better if you are staying there...it is so fun! We love LTT and can't wait to eat there again!

As far as Starring Rolls go, I am going to post a review from Disney Food blog that made me want to try it! Soooo good!

I WOULD DIE to see Wizard of Oz on ice!! We love WofOz! Seems like you have seen many DOIs! This is my first, we really enjoyed it!!

Enjoy! And thank you... it gave me an excuse to go back and read it again

HAHA I do that sometimes too :goodvibes Fun to re-live memories!

Hi! Followed you over from my PTR!

I just subbied and will get all caught up tonight! I've been during Christmas twice and would love to offer an advice/tips I can think of once I see what all you've got planned so far!! :woohoo:

Loved the pictures from Disney on Ice; it looks like it was a lot of fun! I've never been yet, but definitely want to!

Old Navy has Toy Story shirts??? I need to go check that out! Connor has a cute Toy Story shirt from the Disney Store, but I can't find anything girly and Toy Story.

I got my DD the 2T pink Jessie one that says "Girls Rule." There's another cute one with Jessie, Woody, and Bulls-Eye, too. Plus a couple of Minnie shirts, one of which I got my girls to take on our trip. I'm shopping in the toddler section, though, so I'm sure the selection is different for big girls.

The Disney store online had some girly Toy Story shirts, too. Again, I was looking in the little kids, but there might be some cute big kids stuff, too.

WOW! That would be awesome, thank you!! I could use any advice. I am getting a little nervous planning for so many people, but the DIS and the DISers are tons of help! That is amazing you have been so many times...where did you stay?

Thank you!! We were SO impressed with the quality of the performance. I felt that it was a great reflection of what Disney is. I hope that you are able to go one day! :goodvibes

I got Abby the Girls Rule one too!! It should be here today in the mail---along with our imagination movers shirts. Today is a big Disney clothes day  I also got my DD the Minnie shirt and...did you see the yellow Daisy shirt? It is for the "big"girls but it is soooo cute!

I was so upset with the Disney Store. I drove all the way there (about 30 minutes) and they only had ONE Toy Story girly shirt. It was adorable, but no size for my DD left. Also, totally sold out on line! I don't get it. There were 5 choices for my son in the boys section :confused3

Wow, your DD DOI birthday looks amazing! Your seats were the BEST!

I saw Imagination Movers were at our local amusement park the other weekend. We didn't go. What is it that you are attending? Did you go yet?

Well, all of the Imagination Movers are from a small town about 40 minutes from here. They tape their show locally and hire local crew members, etc. They offered FREE concert tickets (up to 6!!!) for local residents! I was one of the lucky ones to get through Ticketmaster and secure 6 of them. They are taping a Disney Channel special. We will be going on Sunday and I will post either that night or Monday about it!! My kids are so excited :goodvibes

Subbing and caught up! :) I followed you over from my PTR and it's been fun reading. WL has now been added to the list of places I want to eventually stay at Disney. We'll be including it in our resort Christmas decorations touring when we do that.

I look forward to hearing more about your trip!

Ooooo, Katie make sure you make it over to the Boardwalk hotels too - you have to see the gingerbread carousel at Beach Club and the gazebo at the Boardwalk Inn! My boys had a blast trying to find all the hidden Mickey's on them :thumbsup2

OH that sounds PERFECT!! Now that you said Hidden Mickeys, do you have a good Hidden Mickey book that you use? My DD was really interested in finding them last time, so I thought we would try harder this year to research. Thanks for the advice! Your the pro :thumbsup2

DOI: We loved it! We went on May 22nd and sat about 8 rows up and Olivia (2.5) LOVED every minute of it!!! It was even better b/c I got the tickets for $14 a piece through the school system!!!! The only bad part was that my camera batteries were DEAD so I didn't get a single picture!!! We definitely want to go to another show when they come back... I am hoping for a Princess show!

I am so excited to be going at Christmas time this year!!!! We intentionally pushed Olivia's birthday trip back 3 weeks after her birthday so we can make sure to see everything decorated! I have already booked our ADRs and made sure to get a bunch in the hotels so that we can see the decorations there as well!!! I am getting so excited and it is still 6 months away!

LOVE your PTR btw!!!!

Don't forget about my update links on pg.1 :)

Hi everyone!!! Thank you SO much for all of the wonderful comments about our Disney On Ice experience :goodvibes I love to hear from you!

Just a quick mini-update---

I have been doing a little work on my new trip binder. I have a lot of research and work to do, but I thought you would like to see what I have as of now :lovestruc

I have tabs for : Receipts, Wilderness Lodge, Christmas Info, Epcot, MK and DHS. Here are some pics of the tabs--

After each park tab, I included this awesome "must do/times/show" list that I found on the Creative Boards that are themed to each park.

Here is an example of the Epcot one--

And last, in the back pocket of the binder I have the Ultimate Disney Packing List that I used last year and your GAD vouchers.

Making a binder is the first step to my planning!! I am so excited to add more :santa:
