Will Disney Sprinkle More Moonlight Magic Into October-December?

Last year on September 9th, Disney added some late-season Moonlight Magic dates in October, November, and December. Do you think there’s a chance they’ll sprinkle a little more pixie dust and do the same this year?

We are going in early December (1-10) and late January (25-27) and hoping for one date!!

Disney, if you’re listening, I would tack on extra days around our late Nov cruise if there was an MM in play.

The last 2025 MM event was Disney's Hollywood Studios Event Date: September 1, 2025, so fair to say Oct, Nov & Dec haven't been scheduled, but could be.

If they add again in 2025 (Disney added in 2023 and 2024), I would expect it to be at Animal Kingdom, although maybe they'll add another park.

That's a good sign that the last two years they added! Hoping we hear soon for early December!

If they add one in December, my money is on second week. First week is pretty sold out, even SSR, so if they add one it will be to convince guests to come for (or move to) the slower week.

I say that because our trip is first week. ;-)

Last year Disney announced the fall dates on Monday September 9th, hoping for an announcement soon!

If they're adding an event in October, I hope they announce it soon. We're going around the same time last year's October event was at AK. It's tough when they wait so close to the event to announce it. We've already made all of our ADRs, planned our Disney and Universal days, etc.

Adds that extra level of stress if you don't know if there'll be another MM event - or even if you'll win the registration lotto if they do...

MM is paid for by direct sales profits, correct? Perhaps there are less direct sales this year vs. last year - therefor no MM dates for Oct/Nov/Dec?

I haven't seen the direct sales numbers from the past 1 year vs the year before...
But I would think that the last year would have been better than the previous after the opening sales of the Poly tower started around a year ago.

Also I think it comes out of the marketing budget? So idk if it is directly linked to the profits at all

It comes from the marketing budget but the size of that budget would be in line with sales in some way.

Would also be nice if there were one during our December stay in 2026, but unsure if we will 1st or 2nd week of December. Might arrive mid to late 1st week and then stay for the 2nd.
